Game changer
Every month I purchase at least 25 bottles of sparkling water ( I don't drink tea, coffee or milk) apart from the fact that the bottles are very heavy to carry from the car to indoors, it really does work out very expensive. I decided to buy a Soda-stream Art, firstly because I like the sleek design but more importantly it means NO PLASTIC BOTTLES. The Soda-stream bottle is more than adequate and stores easily in the fridge, no chance of fizzy water going flat any more either. It really has been a worthwhile and cost effective game changer

Perfect
We love this! Great quality, easy to use, arrived next day, price competitive. So much better than lugging bottled water from supermarkets, and saves on plastic waste. We bought an extra pair of bottles. And - means you never run out of sparkling water /Tonic Water. Thanks!

Better design than last model
This design is less fiddly, the bottle doesnt need as much twisting and the handle is easier.

Should have bought one sooner.
After a difficult start. My fault. We had a SodaStream years ago and used it until it broke.I saw this one advertised on Black Friday deals and decided to try it. Far superior to old type. I love it and flavoured syrups have also come along way. Use it everyday and encourages me to drink extra water. Fabulous.

Turns still wine into sparkling - this is almost biblical..
I’ll admit it up front – I bought this machine as a present to make still wine into sparkling. I know it’s not the intended use but, well, you know…Firstly, setup is a cinch. The gas bottle just slips in – no screwing. The water bottle is just as easy, introduce it to the tippy bit at the front, push in so it’s upright and you’re ready. No effort. A few presses on the handle and you have fizzy water (for wine see below). Now you take that off, add some concentrate (not supplied) and you have your Pepsi, 7-UP or whatever.Note that ‘fizzing wine’ is not what the machine was designed for and I don’t want to promote excessive drinking but if you prefer sparkling to still, read on.Now, just in case you’re interested in wine… The ‘fill-line’ on the water bottle is technically 840ml, but empty a 750ml wine bottle in and it’s close enough. Press the handle down briefly to spurt some CO2 into the wine. Do this several times and you’ll see the main body of the wine get gassy and froth appear above the surface. Keep doing short bursts until the froth is about half way between the surface of the liquid and the top of the bottle. Then stand back and watch – it’s quite fascinating. First nothing much happens, then the gassiness in the liquid will slowly clear from the bottom while the froth rises a little further. Once it’s done this, the froth will start to burst and once it’s dropped an inch or so you can release the bottle and you’re done. The whole process takes maybe a minute and a half.Apparently, Champagne is made from Chardonnay grapes so you may like to consider this. Generally, though, choose a dryish white or rosé. Don’t expect perfect results every time – you’ll need to experiment (this is more fun than chemistry experiments at school).Bear in mind that, although the ABV of the wine won’t change, the absorption rate into your body will so it’ll affect you more quickly so be sensible. This is supposed to be a review of the machine and for that it’s a very good buy. There are cheaper versions available but the easy gas bottle replacement and easy water bottle attachment may well be worth the difference if you value convenience as I do.

Great Sparkling Water - Pretty Design
When it comes to functionality it scores five stars. When it comes for the premium price and materials used it scores two stars. For almost £200 I expected metal body and not fragile plastic. The water is great, as fizzy as one wants. The gas canisters do not last as long as advertised. I wish there was more honesty in that department.

Game changer
This machine is amazing if you like sparkling water! No more wasting plastics bottles. I bought two spares so I always have lots in the fridge prepared. And you can make it as fizzy as you like. Kids love it too I bought them a bottle each as well for school. Definitely worth the money and looks nice too!
