Q: Would this work with a T ring adapter for canon cameras?

You would need the Canon mount to 48mm thread adapter (instead of the T-Thread) to thread the Barlow element to the adapter, then insert the assembly into your 2" focuser drawtube for the 1.25x effect. Or use the Canon to 2" barrel adapter and insert that into the 2" opening of the Barlow for the full 2x. Alternatively use the Canon T-Adapter and get a T to 2" barrel adapter. T and T2 threads are the same 42 mm diameter, 0.75 mm thread pitch.

Q: Has anyone had issues with astromania 2" barlow and an Orion 38mm Q70 mating to tightly?

I own the Orion eyepiece and the Barlow...although I have not tried them together I have had trouble with the eyepiece fitting too tight in various diagonals so I believe it is the Orion 38 mm Q70 that is the problem

No this is a 1.25 inch not a 2 inch
