The water actually comes out slowly in drops, and it is aesthetically pleasing. I dont use this on all my plants, because of the size of the globe and their watering needs. It is glass, so I worry it may topple over or break in smaller pots.

**Q: Do they cause fires if they're near a window?**
A: Seriously, though, if you’re worried about the glass bulb acting as a magnifying glass, the glass is likely too thin to act as a significant lens.
But if it does explode, as Devon said, it will self-extinguish.

**Q: What is the Capasity**
A: I don't know, but they are fairly small.  The first one drained in 24 hours.  The refill is still half full after 24 hours.

**Q: How many ml?**
A: Np idea.  I can't even estimate ML.  I understand ounces.

**Q: Can this be used for outdoor flower beds? Or will the water evaporate too quickly?**
A: Personally, I think the water will evaporate to quickly

Used it with my plants when went on holiday - not perfect but does the job, have to choose the perfect angle that need some testing otherwise end up emptying the tank very quickly or the opposite, but with the right angle it is fine for over a week,maybe two. Seems sturdy enough not to break easily. I would recommend using during holidays- just test the angle first for a few days. :)
