Lazer StarAmber LED Board LED53AM Replacement for Bullet & Shorty Lights

I had a set of lazer star lights on the back of my dune buggy when I bought it. They were the standard halogen bulbs and red lenses. The bulbs were in bad shape and the lights were intermittent. When they were on they were not all that bright. So I looked into different light choices. I didn't want to buy new ones, I was very happy with the look of the current ones but I really like LED lights for several reasons, long life, low power draw, brightness. So I looked into buying new lazer star led and they are extremely expensive in my opinion. Then I found the retrofit kit and at 100 bucks it was steeper than I wanted to go but I am extremely happy with the results. Very easy to swap the old bulb out for the new led housing but the wiring is not as simple. You have to remove the connector that attaches to the halogen bulb, the led has leads attached. They are positive and negative specific so keep track of that. If you wonder which is which, you can use a little 9 volt battery to activate the led.
