Works as it should, but there is a bit of coil whine coming from the adapter. I used other adapters and confirmed that it was this one that was making the noise. It's not very noticeable, but its still there if you listen.Edit: Nexlux reached out to me and issued a replacement adapter. I've changed the review to 5 star, because this adapter works as it should and doesn't have the same coil whine that the first one had.

Really good item. I plug it about 3-4 months ago I and I have not unplug it . It doesn’t get hot or flick is small and a good length of cable good product I would recommended I just bought 4 more for some led project

Perfect for LED strip lights, but takes 2 seconds to turn on.
It works for my LED lights, but when you turn on the 120 volts, it takes about 1 to 2 seconds for the 12 volts to activate. Not a huge deal, but a little annoying.

Thank you so much to those over at Nexlux, I made a mistake by buying a 2A Power Adapter, when the lights I had needed a 3A Power Adapter. After my 2A Power Adapter died inevitably, I emailed them and their response was helpful, and within 24 hours. They helped me out the whole way, and now I am getting a 3A Power Adapter. This is why I give this product a 5 star, because it's not just about the product they are selling, but about the helpful and generous people that sell it! Thank you Nexlux!

Great product,, I did have to return it though because it wasn't the correct connector for my LED lights but worked well for my other family members LED lights.

Power supply died after a week. Returning for refund. likely just a one-time issue, but still inconvenient.UPDATE: Chris from Nexlux reached out to me, and sent me a replacement power supply. All is good.

Not the length advertised in the product name on Amazon
The product is advertised as "Nexlux DC 12V 2A Power Adapter, AC 100-240V to DC 12V 2A Transformer, 24W Power Supply Adapter for 16.4ft 12V LED Strip Lights CCTV Camera LED Modules"It is not 16.4 ft. This is misleading and resulted in my purchasing the item by mistake. Other description on the page indicates it is 4.5 ft.

Worked for 2 years
It does what it is supposed to - I used it to replace a bad charger/adapter on a Logitech iPod dock/speaker. The old one eventually got twisted and stopped working. This one did the same. I feel like it didn't last as long as the original but it may also be that I just wore it out with general use. These days, two years for anything dealing with electronics is decent, I guess. Time to order a new one.
