Fob Housing
My OEM one broke at the attachment pin so I went to the dealer and they wanted 250 for the fob 35 for the blank and 80 to cut it. I bought the cut key and was just going to glue the new key to the fob. Came home and found this replacement housing. Fixed within ten minutes of it arriving. Perfect 👌

Worth the Cost
OEM quality construction. Didn't put the electronics in, just used to get the key cut.

a great way to get a new key for original circuit board.
Bought a 2016 ford explorer. The day I bought it the key broke. Bought this replacement key and found a lock Smith to re key it , transfered the circuit board and got a $150 key for 30 bucks.

Individual parts aren't interchangeable with OEM
I lost the metal keychain part on my original ford keyfob (2018 F-250). I bought this hoping to use only the metal piece that I needed. It holds (kinda) but doesn't line up or look very good. If you're buying these for repair, you'll have to remove your origional PCB from the OEM keyfob and use this entire housing because the parts are NOT interchangeable. I personally do not want a cheap unbranded housing. I ended up purchasing OEM (lightly used) keyfobs from eBay to use for parts/spares. These clone keyfobs aren't the best quality and I've had issues with them. Looks like a key that would belong to a childs power wheels. Don't get me wrong, they work.. if you don't wanna spend a few extra dollars for the real thing.

Hard to move the guts...or so I hear.
The spring on my OEM Fob was worn out and I was tired of prying it open, so I bought this and had the blade cut. It could still be smoother operating if I were using the new case, but it works well for now. I'm sure one day I will transfer the guts, but I am happy with how it works for now.
