Was a fan for a while, not a device I think I'll depend on in the long run
I bought the power-monitoring switch for a purpose. The models without this feature just works (once you learn the quirks) but I've not had the same experience with this so-called power monitor. The data varies wildly - even if it's just powering LED lights and a small network switch I see the wattage up and down dramatically so much that the graph. So I do not trust the data at all. What I now come to learn is that this switch cuts off at 10A and the only way to reset it is to unplug and then plug it back in. I have these switches in hard to reach places - this isn't exactly a good thing. Worse, it's a hard reset - and I just happen to have equipment for electronics, like soldering that during the initial warm up phase (a few seconds) draws more than that, and well the unit cannot be used in that case. I actually liked that there was over-current protection, but it's not adjustable and won't work for what I have. The biggest issue is if you don't read the manual - I have "a few" devices that I manage - I'm used to add units to my monitoring network. With THIS unit, you have to time your adaption. If I didn't have a mobile phone app to access the controller, I wouldn't be able to do this in time. You need to start the adaption process on the controller, then with the switch connected do 3 fast clicks on the button before the unit will be seen and added (sometimes you'll be prompted for a pin, other times not so much). If you have too much of a wait between the scan or try to do the 3 fast pushes before the scan starts, it will NOT work. And you may end up wasting a lot of time thinking the unit isn't working, like I did. But once you know this (and other) tricks, it works without an issue.Except for the wasted power monitoring feature, it's a good switch. If all you are controlling is a light, then the over-current protection will be a great benefit to you.

Small; works superbly
Z wave portable outlets have come down in size and are therefore now more convenient to use. My experience with this product is great. Inclusion (pairing) and exclusion work well. This outlet has preformed flawlessly on my z wave network. I have used it with ADT Pulse and with Hubitat z wave controllers. As always, check to be sure this device is compatible with your z wave controller before buying. For those new to automation, z wave devices, such as this, must have a z wave controller. Most z wave controllers can integrate with Alexa and Google voice assistants to allow voice control of this outlet, But, without a z wave controller you can't use this device at all, and certainly not wih Alexa or Google voice assistants.

Works great with HomeSeer
So far so good, but it's only day one.I was able to add it to my Z-wave network within HomeSeer without issue. I used non-secure mode when adding it. My history with other devices leads me to default to non-secure mode when I'm able to (locks don't allow that). It responds to commands from HomeSeer quickly. And it is correctly sending updates to HomeSeer from local control (pressing the button on the side). No negatives to report.

Works well with Samsung Smarthings
I made a Edison bulb fixture and use this plug to turn on and keep dim. Over all it works great. Instantly connected to Smarthings, and google home. If I had one complaint, it would be the indicator led on the power button. It's too bright. U had to later masking tape over it because the light was bouncing off a hall way wall and shining in the bedroom. Aside from that, it is a great dimmer switch. I wish it was as cheap as wifi outlets.

MP21Z does not energy monitor on Home Assistant
I purchased this to monitor electrial usage to set up some scenes. I jumped back and forth from the different Minoston units. This one on the comparison page said it was energy monitoring. Pulled the trigger and bought the 2 pack.Installed them and found they do not do energy monitoring. The chart says that the MP31Z does monitoring, but now I don't trust the description.I think I will try another brand that will keep up with the descriptions of their products they sell.BTW, the reason for as high a rating as I gave it is the unit was easy to setup on my Home Assistant instance. So far, except for the energy monitoring, it is working fine.

Not cross compatible with older S0 standard
I tried pairing the switch with Home Assistant (v2022.07.07) + Aeotec z-stick Gen5 which by default doesn't support S2 or the SmartStart QR pairing thing. It just wouldn't work, tried No Security, S0 etc (this is with ZwaveJS). I have about 60 devices on my zwave network old and new and none of them had issues. I was able to firmware upgrade my Aeotec to v1.2 which gives it the S2 and SmartStart features. Then it all worked right away.

IQPanel Compatible
If you have a IQPanel you will need to first ensure you have software version 2.71 or newer. Once you confirm/update software you can run the Zwave add device process and the MP31ZP plugs will work. You can also view power usage which is awesome!

Intermittent success, do not recommend
We bought this to use with our Vivint security system as it is zwave. We needed to put our reptile lamps on a schedule. It worked great with only a few anomalies for a week, after that it would randomly turn off or on, then eventually would only turn on by the schedule but not off. It could not be controlled in the app to turn it off, only on. I went through tons of troubleshooting, deleted and re-added to system but in the end would not fully function. Returned it defective and order a leviton plug.

Setup is easy and it works great with Habitat.
I used this with my Habitat Z-Wave controller. It detects and setups within seconds without any issue. It works very well as well. I give only 4 stars because of 2 reasons: 1) My controller detects it as "Zooz Double Plug", but it is actually a single plug. It doesn't really do any harm. 2) There is a slight 2 seconds delay between you press the button to the actual device turn on.

Pleasantly surprised, quick and dependable zwave dual outlet.
Pleasantly surprised. I had never heard of this brand, to my knowledge it’s not one of the big brands. But the installation was a breeze, it’s very dependable so far, it’s reasonably priced. What more can you want?I use it with smartthings, no issues. Device is not local, but then none of the dual outlet zwave devices are and that’s a smartthings issue.Despite of not being local, response time is really good, almost instantaneous. So far, it’s also been dependable, which is something I cannot say about my zooz dual outlets.

Works A1 with Home Assistant!
I have been using this zwave outlet device for a few days only but honestly it works flawlessly. It connected to my HA server using aeotec stick on the first attempt. The outlet is on a different floor, on diagonal opposite direction and it is still getting the signal quite well.I just ordered another one to use as repeater for the rest of the basement!

Good purchase
Great product especially for its price. I replaced a faulty unit from another vendor. Bonus: you have a dual output and you can control both of them independently
