This is a great kit for the beginner. I am currently in an auto body class and it's come in handy already. Can't wait to have the time to use it outside the classroom.

The "light" isn't a light it's just a reflection board that's it. Other then that a decent kit.

Over the years I got several of these dent removal kits. I started out with a simple (inexpensive) kit and worked my way up to kits with a more comprehensive set of tools. I wish I bit the bullet at first and just got a comprehensive set in the beginning. This set has most of everything I've ever used except a large suction cup puller. That item would be a nice add for those large panel dents where you just need to pop it back out like if someone fell into your door. Notably, this set adds 9 different dent pushing rods from the last kit I got (amongst many other pieces). These rods are what really makes the kit an all-around kit from some other less expensive kits. I've had many dents repaired professionally years ago and in all but one of those repairs they used a rod to get behind the dent in the panel and push it out. These rods are strong and give good leverage to put good pressure on the dent. The rest of the tools are decent for the amount of wear they're expected to receive. Some parts may break if put under too much pressure. Imagine trying to use one of these tools to pull a dent out of an old steel bodied pickup from the 1960s. The tool will probably break before the dent budges. Use common sense. I plan to use this kit to pull a couple dents out of my stainless steel refrigerator door in addition to the maintenance on my daily drivers. Is this kit the ultimate in quality... no. Is this kit good for someone with ADHD and minor interest in learning how to use it properly and expecting to fix their dent easily... no. This kit is good for an beginner or intermediate enthusiast who is passionate about their car and would rather learn how to repair it themselves because they will ultimately do a better, more careful job than someone else. Watch videos of different repairs and techniques. Study the tools you have. Practice on something with less meaning like a "kids car" before attempting your prize. Gripe: This kit comes with a bag that is not big enough to hold the long rods. That stinks. For now, I have the kit just stored in the box it came in.

Great little starter kit for dings and little dents. It’s quite complete in fact. However, this does not come equipped to handle large dents. I’m new to doing any sort of body repair, so this is a nice intro. For the most part, this will do the job of handling the injuries in car vs shopping cart or closed door vs open door dings. You’ll look like a hero to your wife when you fix those little surprises on her new SUV. This will handle most of those everyday minor issues. I’m happy with this.
