K&N Cold Air Intake System: Dry-Flow Air Filter, Increase Performance & Towing: Compatible with 2009-2021 RAM/DODGE 1500 Classic, 1500, 2500, 3500, 71-1561

I put this in my 2018 ram 1500 hemi and what a difference in makes. I had the flowmaster 40 series on prior to install which already sounded good with the stock intake. The sound from this CAI at initial throttle stomp is a huge upgrade. Throttle response is pretty noticeable and the vacuum sound is very subtle but still noticeable. If you install this and get BETTER gas mileage then you’re doing it wrong. Sounds too good to just put around. Install was rather easy. I am nowhere near a motor head and managed start to finish in a little over an hour. Make sure you use the crank case hose that is provided in the box and replace it with the stock. The directions provided don’t mention that the stock crank case hose does come remotely close to the intake. All in all this is money we’ll spent at just over $300 and I’m happy I made this purchase.

Fits great on my 2019 Ram 1500. I love the way it sounds on my truck and the extra HP I get when I need it. You can feel the power when you accelerate.

Installation was relatively simple and was worried about not passing emissions but passed with flying colors! I went from around 15.3 mpg with the stock air filter to 18.4 mpg with the 5.7 Hemi and the K&N. The majority of that was back roads from 45-50 mph and interstate driving with cruise control on from 72-74 mph. Takes some learning the right pressure on the gas pedal to achieve the best results for the ups and downs with the curves in the road. Plus it sounds like you threw on glass pack mufflers without changing the stock exhaust! Beefy throaty sound when you lay into the gas! I was really surprised with the big boost in mpg and was originally hoping for 1-1.5 mpg increase but 3 is incredible! Just remember having a lead foot is not gonna give you the results you’re hoping for as far as mpg but on the other hand it will sound bad @ss!

This intake looks amazing under the hood of my blacked out ram 1500 and it sounds fantastic! Took about an hour to put in and was easy to install. Good quality just like you'd expect from K&N. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quality cold air intake.

Fast shipping came in 2 days. Product was exactly as described. It went on my 2016 Ram 1500 with no issues. Sounds good when driving and a small increase in gas mileage. Only dislike about this product is that you have to cut the factory crank vent hose and that the plastic nipple that screws into the intake tube is cheap plastic and will break easy if you are not careful, otherwise great product.

this is a really nice coldair intake but i did have to modify one of the brackets because it didnt line up 100% other than that it sounds real nice and it give my ram an extra little rumble from the engine when i floor it. 👍🏾 the one thing i will say is the breather hose it comes with be prepared to cut it down and buy an extra heater hose to replace the original. do not cut your original hose!

I highly reccomend this CAI. I have this plus a flowmaster super 44 muffler on my 2011 Ram 1500 and it sound good. When I get on it I can hear the CAI and i actually love it.... I've never been a fan of the vaccum noise until this. It increases MPG like you would not believe! The first few days I got up to 22 MPG! I drive about 2 hours a day, mostly city and get about 18.5 MPG regularly. When installing, and I highly reccomend watching americantrucks video on how to install. It makes the install go way smoother and explains better than the included instructions. It even exhibits a way to get around the common kink in the breather hose, which works well. If it had better instructions or maybe a recommendation to a video it would make this a 5 star product.

Only a small amount of modifications needed to fit this on Australian Ram 1500. Great product, great sound, very happy. 👍🏼

Simple the best K&N Air Intake. Easy to installe on my 2015 Ram Big Horn. It mates the Big Hemi breathes!!! My truck sourds better (i.e., louder), it added almost 10hp and, on the top of that, it seems more gaz efficient!!!
