Best hyaluronic acid product!
I’ve tried a three or four of different hyaluronic acid products and this is absolutely the best. It goes on smooth and drives nice and light. My face definitely feels brighter and lighter.

Brightens and Plumps Skin!
I have only been using this product for a few days but so far I have been loving the results! It instantly brightens and plumps my skin while adding a great amount of hydration and absorbs into the skin quickly. I love the Avene RetrinAL cream and was so excited to see they expanded the line with a serum.

Gentle with Rosecea
I started using this out of the recommendation of my Aesthetician. I developed Rosecea several years ago and have worked at trying to find products to help heal my skin. This is gentle, non irritating and my skin feels fresh, firm and with the help of other products, my skin is clearing up. I’ve been using it 2x a day and my bottle has lasted almost 2 months.

*Is* it working?
I’m not one to recoil from a product due to its cost, however, at almost $80 a bottle, I can’t say I’ve seen any positive benefits from this product.I’ve been using it for 10 months, morning and evening. I’ve purchased it directly from Avéne US, and from Amazon. And I just don’t see any change or improvement. What *did* change my skin’s appearance was finally swallowing my fear of retinoids, and starting with Adapalene Gel as an intro retinoid after extensive research. And after 4 months (now a total of 7 months) using that almost nightly, I decided to incorporate a Vitamin C-free retinol cream. The Adapalene kept my skin clear, the retinol caused my skin to purge for two weeks, but hot tamales! my skin looks AMAZING after almost 3 months of using the retinol twice weekly, and the Adapalene Gel for the rest of the week. So, me spending almost $80 a month on this serum seems fruitless and wasteful.I rated it a 3/5 because it also contains niacinamide, which was extremely difficult to incorporate from other products as someone with very dry, hypersensitive skin. And I could leave the very temporary “bounce” of hyaluronic acid and be just fine. So, I’m still somewhat on the fence about this product. Do I wait for the 1 year mark? The 2-year mark before deciding? I’m not sure yet.Having this on Subscribe & Save recently, I accidentally overstocked. So I have 3 bottles now to last me a while. Which means I’ll update if I see any miraculous change in my skin, but I’m doubtful since the definitive results were absolutely from retinoids (I started with La-Roche Posay’s Adapalene Gel. Then onto the super-gentle Hero Cosmetics Rescue Retinol on Amazon. Then graduated to the Paula’s Choice 1% Retinol Booster. My skin has tolerated both so well! And I just bought a tube of A313 Retinol Pommade to test my skin’s tolerance before potentially requesting Tretinoin from my dermatologist. Fingers crossed!)
