The item is constructed in metal! The black finish is very well done! The center pivot joint is notched and spring loaded. The lock is sure and strong. The lock screws are not machine quality but they are smooth and sufficient for purpose. I would recommend a small drop of lightweight oil on the threads to mitigate potential corrosion. The "cold shoe" mount is well machined. One caution I would offer is there are two springs in the mount. The springs purpose is to expand the mount for release and ease of flash removal. These springs are small and there is potential for them to fall out. Be mindful. See photo attached. Note to manufacturer: two 1 mm pins for the springs to mount to would help ensure locking them into the mount. I believe there is very good value for the investment.

Very sturdy and definitely won’t break easily. The entire thing seems to be made of metal which is great. It was easy to use and mounting it on the tripod only took a few seconds. Mounting the speedlight on it was a breeze too. Just wish the hole for the umbrella was up a little higher so the light would be centered properly. It’s nice and small too so it can be tucked away in my camera bag. It holds everything tightly too and doesn’t budge so I feel like my light will be safe on it. The overall adjustability is great. I recommend!

Doesn’t job but when the clamp is tighter it does not line up evenly. Mom being picky and can just aim move flash but I find that odd that it doesn’t line up

Extremely satisfied! This bracket is sturdy, easy to adjust, and holds my Canon 580EX II Speedlite and umbrella perfectly. It does exactly what it's supposed to do without any fuss. Fantastic value for the price.

It was amazing but I lost my

I’ve been using this Anwenk flash speedlite mount with a light stand and umbrella for small studio and on-location shoots. It works well with standard speedlights and feels sturdy once properly tightened.

When I recently bought a softbox from Amazon this came up as a suggested purchase to go along with it. While I had a tripod to use I didn't even think about how I would mount the flash and softbox to it. So far it works well and for the price I think it's a decent value. However, this is only getting three Stars because I don't have a whole lot of confidence in the clasp for the flash itself. While it holds the umbrella well enough and is easily adjustable, the clasp for the flash seems barely adequate for holding a flash. Also I am concerned that in the long run it could damage the hot shoe on my flash. If you're using a moderately priced flash then chances are you're going to want to be careful with it and I just don't know how much I want my flash to be "secured" with this mount. I should be clear that so far this mount has worked well for me and I have not had any issues. It feels sturdy and we'll constructed and is fairly flexible to point where I need it. The plastic washer on the top can be finicky to align the flash but it's more than workable. Overall this works and if you understand what you're getting, then for the price I can still recommend it. However, if you are planning to mount an expensive flash to this or any flash you care about, I'd recommend researching whether or not this is the mounting method for you. Easy to adjust, holds firm. Only critique is the set screw to hold your flash in will not hold firmly enough just tightening by hand. You'll need an assist from a screwdriver, but take care - not too tight, you don't want to damage your flash. I always have a multifunction knife with me, so it's no problem. Just be aware, so you don't accidentally drop your flash to the floor when titling the mount (speaking from experience). I found these mounts to be more than robust enough to handle an SB800 and an umbrella, no problem.

A bad product, the speedlite doesn't fit securely on this.

Very good, exactly what I was after

Most of the adapters I found were all made from plastic. This metal alloy construction feels solid and the value for money is fantastic. The functionality is very wide ranging, and it's light enough to fit in your bag. Very easy to use and modify. I highly recommend
