The only problem that I have experienced was the bottom button on the thumb rest, I really only used that button to change out my pets in Guild Wars 2 but the buttons top came off about a month ago. Not really too much of an issue since I did have a button that was free, so I just reprogrammed it. As for the rest of the buttons, everything is still working very well. I have read some reviews that they were having problems with the drivers, I have experienced this also, but have found that if you disable the default windows mouse driver, you should have no problems. of course every time there is a windows update, you may have to go back in to the mouse panel and re-disable it again. And I cannot stress this enough, when using this mouse, make sure that you keep the driver (do not use the update function in the Windows Mouse Properties Panel) and the software up to date. There is no automatic update for the driver or software, so you need to go to their website (which can be found on the Support tab of the Profile Editor) and select the proper drivers from the drop down menu. Another issue is mouse pads, I have tried several types, and the only type that seems to work other than no mouse pad at all, is the old foam pads that you can get anywhere. The optic is really picky and on smooth surface mouse pads you can surely forget it. It just does not read well on smooth surface. The MMO buttons are quick and clicky, and for using this in GW2 it is the perfect mouse for that game.The single toggle button I have set for main weapon & off hand skills, for my utilities I use the other buttons that surround the toggle. I shall focus on these points instead of comparing lasers dpi etc, which IMHO very similar in terms of performances per say, as MMORPG doesn't need high dpi anyway. 1. One of my problem with Naga is the mouse is kind of too light. The weights in MMO7 solved this. 2. Naga was the first mouse designed for this gaming genre. The 12 button numpad for thumb was a good move. However, the numpad was quite spreaded out, due to varied in thumb length, some people like myself cannot utilize the pad fully. I only managed to use 6 buttons comfortably, at all times. The design of MMO7 solved this as well! Besides the programmable buttons, there is a 5 direction joystick, also fully customizable! Better, the thumb plate can move and be adjustable, making access of the other thumb buttons easier, to short and longer thumb players! 3. Different people has different palm size, and the way of holding mouse will always be different among individuals. The adjustable/exchangeable palm rest of different sizes is a god sent. And not to mention the pinky rest. Overall, the customizable characteristics of MMO7 shines, making this simple the best gaming mouse around. This mouse is a beauty and I actually found joy dismantling all the parts and put them up together. My wife commented,'you bought a Transformer!'. I currently have a G700 and this feature has almost become a requirement for me (Plug 'N Play).** A: It does not have on board memory which would make this great to more portable. What it does have is the ability to load a profile based on an open program. So if I wanted to, I could set it up to load one profile when I open Dreamweaver and a different profile when I open WoW. To me, that makes it more usable.I use this in conjunction with a Razer Nostromo. That does have onboard memory.
