A: The USB A port can output 5V/2.1A and you can use it to recharge other devices.

**Q: What does the multi function button do ?**
A: The multi function button to the far right will enable you to party cast additional soundcore speakers,  very useful if u have more then 2 speakers

**Q: Is the battery in this replaceable in this unit?  Most batteries only last a few years and I don't want to be forced to plug it in.**
A: To access the battery you will have to unscrew and open it up. I’m sure you could after you open it up. The battery is not meant to be reachable therefore no easy way to get to the battery
