These are some good carpentry pencils. They are sturdy and the lead doesn't seem to break if you drop them. They sharpen easily with a carpentry knife. I was able to write on wood and cardboard with them for a fair bit leaving a good dark easy to see line, without significant wear of the lead. As with all carpentry pencils you can sharpen them in various ways to make more specialized uses and markings. They are pretty much the same as any other brand of carpentry pencil I've used.However these are a little over priced compared to the ones you can get at most home improvement stores. These cost about 63 cents per pencil here and I can get some of just as good quality in a pack of 10 with a pencil sharpener for 49 cents each.

These are good carpenters pencils. They are easy to sharpen with a sharpener or with a knife. I prefer to sharpen them with a knife to get a blunt wide tip that resists breaking during tough marking tasks. The bright color is difficult to lose on the workbench or in the workshop.

First off I like the color of these. They’re different and stand out in my work area. They’re fairly easy to sharpen and seem to work just fine. Dark enough to see on my projects. Great Carpenter pencil that’s easy to locate. Good price for the quantity. I like them. Recommended.

I ordered these for my husband and they are perfect for all the projects he is currently working on. They write clearly and the bright green means they are easy to find if he sets them down and hasn't kept it behind his ear. 5 stars!

FINALLY some construction pencils that are easy to spot when I set them down. All my tools are black, yellow, or orange and I really needed these pencils as we are laying 3000 sq ft of flooring. They are perfect.

These carpenter pencils are easy to sharpen by whittling the end to a point. They write dark enough that it's easy to see the markings, and the lead doesn't break easily.
