I didn't have to do any formatting and so far have not experienced any issues with reading or writing any of the data and I've never found myself asking is this ever going to finish... After reading about MicroSD and phone compatibility this Samsung 256GB EVO Plus Class 10 UHS-I microSDXC U3 was recommended to work with the A53. I started using it for a day now, and it is staying connected, working fine. Loaded 20 GB of files. I notice that there is also improved performance when taking photos / videos and when viewing them and when listening to stored music files. Also seems faster when using the photo editor with MicroSD stored files. Hopefully this MicroSD card will stay connected. The A53 is a major phone upgrade for me which I am impressed with and enjoy using.
