Urban Boots

Four years later and these shoes are still holding up! They fit and feel great. They aren't designed to have much arch support, they are pretty flat but it works if you need/want to stay close to the terrain or lifting weights. When I first got them they had good traction and slip resistance—fours years later though, sadly there isnt much left but they are still hanging in there. The material where the heel contiuously slips in and out has started to tear and become tattered but thats about it./

Altama mid 11.5 one shoe weighs 439g shaft measures 12-15cm from bottom of sole interesting shoe, my foot measures exactly 28.4-28.7cm long, 11.5 is a good fit. it's a little narrower in the toebox than I'd prefer but not uncomfortable. Arch and heel are fine, snug, very little side to side slop. the interesting thing about this shoe is the sole, it seems to be zero drop (no lift at the heel; feels like wearing slippers), with a shank underneath the heel giving a firm heelstrike, and the rest of the sole being very flexible and curving along your foot with each step, very similar to chucks but with a very stiff heel. sole is also a bit thin.. maybe good for barefoot enthusiasts but if you're used to tennis shoes these will get uncomfortable quick. very lightweight, breathable mesh body. rubber toecap is thick and stiff, great bump protection. very comfortable but I can tell longer walking would get fatiguing as the foot muscles constantly have to flex around with the sole. these shoes would be terrible for hiking due to the overly flexible sole. I'd honestly prefer a pair of regular tennis shoes over these for everyday use.

These boots are super comfortable- I work long EMS shifts in a hospital and I’m on my feet 12+ hrs and I haven’t had any issues. All my other boots either make my feet super hot or they give me blisters on the sides of my pinky and big toe. These break in quick and they stay tied! True to size! Definitely slip resistant 100%. The only reason it lost a star was for the insoles. The original are not great at all. Easy fix though. I bought work boot insoles and they’re perfect all around now. They have plenty of room for thicker insoles if you want it AND I wear 2 pairs of socks in the winter and they still fit perfectly. I will absolutely buy again once I’ve destroyed these. (Also- the laces that come w these boots are awesome but bc I’m a first responder, I need to be able to get them on and off quickly sometimes. I purchased the stretchy laces for them from lace.links and I can pull em on and off when I need to!)

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I bought these but I do know that I haven’t taken them off. I even wear them without socks because they breath so well and for the first time my feet don’t stink. Praise Jesus. But these are so comfortable. I’m a armed patrol K9 officer and so it’s important to have comfortable shoes/boots. These do the trick for sure. They never “broke in” and then stopped being comfy either. They stayed just like they did when I first got them. I wear them for work, outside of work, house yard work chores, training, dog park (when I step in shit I can litter sky go to the hose and drench my entire shoe clean with a hose and my feet are dry within 10 minutes. Pretty awesome. People will look at you crazy like tho. If they had 10 stars I would give them 10. I’m already buying more in other colors before stock runs up all over the wolds with the way things are going right now in the world economy. Good luck everyone. They feel like the sturdy, older Brother of Chuck Taylor. Size was on point. Traction is superb. They are one of the most comfortable pair of sneakers I've ever worn.

This review section is probably a bunch of people saying the same thing but here it is again: these are basically like indestructible converse. They feel a lot better to wear and they won't fall apart on you in 6 months. I bought these because I was sick of burning through converse and wanted a versatile shoe that felt good to wear. That's these. People ask me all the time what they are and assume they are some kind of converse. When I show them that they have a boot sole with good stitching and a thoughtful, durable design, they say "oh my god I need a pair of those"

I’ve never owned a pair of these or chucks so I didn’t know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they turned out to be but I’m also not the type of person that has to have fluffy clouds for insoles and these do not. I normally wear Redwing boots but with my job now I can wear whatever I want and legit boots are unnecessary and these Altamas fit the bill perfectly. The only thing that I would like to be changed is a loop on the tongue for the shoelaces to go through and keep them straight as they like to slide over sometimes. I’ll be buying another pair to keep clean and nice while I wear these to work.

These are great. Been wearing Altima shoes and boots for 20 years. These are very comfortable and sturdy. This are stiffer than a normal tennis shoe but I feel more planted and my weight more evenly distributed through my feet. The only drawback is these make a noticeable "clack" sound when walking on hard floors. If it wasnt for how loud they are on hard floors I would give them five stars.

My second pair. I will buy them again after my current ones wear down. Sole, fabric and laces hold up for atbleast good 5 years, with the context that I wear these DAILY. Work, going out, doing anything, I always wear them and they refuse to break down.

Ich hatte schon länger mit dem Gedanken gespielt mir die Urban Assault zuzulegen. Nachdem ich zwischenzeitlich immer mehr Artikel darüber gelesen habe, wollte ich auch ein paar haben. Die Altamas sind wirklich so bequem wie überall beschrieben, ich fühle mich darin sogar wohler als in meinen Air Max! Ich werde mir definitiv noch ein paar holen, wahrscheinlich auch noch ein paar maritimes...

Es una buena bota, liviana y flexible, asi como un teni, pedi 1 numero mas arriba y me quedo muy bien, si hubiera pedido la talla habitual me hubiera apretado, lo unico malo es que en la punta tiene una parte de plastico asi como los converse que cuando doblas el pie esta parte de plastico se dobla y presiona sobre tus dedos lo que causa cierta molestia, lo demas esta bien.
