it works very well! and can save hundreds of dollars in damage.
If you have a camper, and are in a humid climate this is perfect for keeping your camper dry. I have a 30 footer and I went the route with the crystals but this is so much better. Think of the investment you have in your camper and think of the damage that excess humidity can do. This is my second one, and I will keep on buying them.

ineffective below 60% RH
I live in NW FL and have a dust mite allergy, so managing the relative humidity (RH) in my home is a bit of a hobby of mine. After receiving this product, I obviously went to testing its effectiveness and was very disappointed to find out that it can barely pull water from humidity levels below ~60%. I bought this strictly for use in a small bathroom that has poor ventilation in my house. It's about 30 sq ft in size, a small exhaust vent, no windows, and a small door into a long hallway that makes natural ventilation difficult. After a shower one morning, when the RH in the room easily gets into the mid 70's. I flipped on the device and went to work. On returning home, the RH in the room was 64% and there was only a few ounces of water in the collection tank. It made no sense since it wasn't a particularly humid day outside (60's) and the rest of the house actually had a RH level in the mid 50's. I've used this now several days under different circumstances, running other full sized dehumidifiers in the home, and at one point when I had the whole house down to 48%, I flipped this thing on in the bathroom and it actually INCREASED the RH in the bathroom (this most likely as a result of the fact that a by product of the fan running is heat, and warmer air can hold more water). For the life of me, I can't figure out how this product garnered such great reviews. The only thing I can reason is that people ran the machine, appreciated that it's quiet, eventually noticed some water collected in the tank, and thought it was a miracle device. Please don't purchase as this is unlikely to do anything for your space.

Here for business!
Bye-bye moisture! Not a paid review. Researched a lot looking for something reliable and space saving. I’ve used this product nonstop for months! Completely reliable. Very portable and easy to use. Light indicates when it’s full and automatically shuts. It’s a work horse—pulls tons of moisture out of the air. Doesn’t have complicated bells and whistles—just does what it’s supposed to do. The top pops off to clean the filter area. It’s very quiet. Doesn’t leak, easy to empty.

Seems to work fine, quiet for a dehumidifier
I'm curious about the negative reviews here. My apartment has a serious mold problem that my landlord refuses to fix. I installed one of these units near two windows with excessive mold. It collects a full container of water every two days and has for a month. It certainly doesn't dehumidify the range that it specifies (150 cubic feet: no. More like 7-14 cubic feet, if I can guess), but it works. I've noticed a huge decrease in mold in my window sills and in the corners of the room. My next step is to buy a hydrometer and measure the change in a more concrete manner. There may be inconsistency in the manufacturing; if your unit isn't collecting water, it might be defective. Try returning it and getting another. As for noise, it creates a small amount of white noise. My last apartment had a massive dehumidifier that was so loud that it frightened my pets. People describing this unit as 'quiet' are probably comparing it to larger, louder dehumidifiers. If you've never had a dehumidifier, you will definitely notice a new sound in your living space, but for me it tends to fade into the background. I think I'll probably end up buying two more, one for the kitchen and one for the bedroom. Wish that it had a larger range, but I honestly can't think of anything negative about this unit except the deceptive advertising behind falsely stating such a large range.

Great value and efficiency
I purchased this dehumidifier for a small second-floor hallway that receives little/no ventilation and lacks any HVAC return vent. The hallway tends to get musky in warmer weather so this little machine helps remove water and odor from the air. Before purchasing, I'd recommend to review the dimensions this unit is rated for in comparison to the size of your room. Because my hallway is a little large for this small unit, I'd be better off with a larger dehumidifier, but for the price and small footprint, I'm happy with this purchase. Getting a larger unit has trade-offs, such as increased power consumption, noise, size, and cost. It's probably better for a small bathroom or closet as other reviews have suggested. The unit takes a few days to fill up the water reservoir, is easy to empty, and I haven't had any issues cleaning it after 4+ months of use. The fan can be heard when close to it, but otherwise cannot be heard from surrounding rooms and would just be some slight white noise anyway. The unit works exactly as advertised, but I emphasize that it should be used in a room within the recommended dimensions for maximum results.

I use it in small RV. It does indeed collect water, maybe a tablespoon at night, but I was hoping for a higher rate of moisture removal.

es muy silencioso y muy eficiente, lo unico que le veo raro es que tarda dias en llenarse, pero mi habitacion agradece ya que desde que lo tengo no ha habido humedad

We placed two of these units in a small room (less than 150 sq. ft.) and had a hygrometer in the room. There was no reduction in the room's humidity at all.
