This was the perfect Valentine's Gift for my husband. His face lit up when he opened it and was just astonished by the numerous things this multitool pen can do. He is an IT guy, and now he carries this with him to his client's house. He likes the sturdiness of the tool, the size is great for putting in his briefcase, bag or shirt pocket, likes the screwdriver, and the can opener and finds that it's easy to use. I was really happy when this popped up on my radar, it was a great gift for the price, this would be perfect for any holiday or even just because.

So this product is quite functional and the comments others have left are quite accurate. There are no instructions so I'm going to try and help. Specifically in regards the flashlight. The batteries do not go in the way you would think. When you twist the light off naturally one would think the batteries go in that compartment between the two. But they do not, as you can see in my picture the light stays on even when they are apart because the batteries are located inside of the smaller piece. Many comments say their product came with dead batteries and I assume they simply had them in the wrong place, or you know they might actually be dead. TO CHANGE BATTERIES: there is a plastic ring thingy on the very end of the light piece that pops off. Then a threaded metal cap slides off, then you can unscrew the light and access the battery. As for activating the battery while closed, that's kind of finicky. I found that placing one of the spare batteries in the space where the light unscrews from the rest of the pen is just enough to toggle the light button as you tighten or loosen the light piece. I hope that explanation helps someone. As for construction its quite solid. The level is accurate. Now the phone holder may or may not hold your phone with the case on, it does not hold mine. As for getting to the ink cartridge. You simply keep turning the tip of the pen when you are closing it and it will eventually come off then you can remove the pen's stylus and the screw bit and you'll find where the ink cartridges go in.

Also great for her. So many useful tools! Centimeter and inch rulers, a level, a writing tool, a bottle opener, and a light. It also clips to a pocket.

I bought 10 of these pens as Christmas gifts and bought one for myself to test it out and I love a very large pen grip like this has and love the level that’s on it and the light but I think it was delivered on November 3 and I am writing this on November 12. It is already run out of ink. It does come with three extra ink cartridges, but I still thought it was pretty quick to run out. It’s lightweight, quality is strong. I just wish the Inc. lasted longer. After this review, I was contacted by the seller and as soon as replacement cartridges are available, they will be letting me know so I do definitely appreciate that. I feel like they have made it right and it is a nice product.

I gave these to all the members of my family to carry in their work bags. They love the versatility of these pens! The light is surprisingly bright.
