Supplemental Material
The book is has great supplemental material. I would not use this book as my priority teaching tool, not enough lessons or enough detail lessons. It is really not organized to common core so you need to look around for the topic you might be teaching. The topics are interesting and kids do enjoy them, but NOT all topics are useable. Sections are short and straight to the point. Very easy to use.

Waste of Money
I wrote a review on the 3rd Grade book in this series, so I'm just going to copy and paste it here, because I feel the same way about both books that I purchased. To call this book "180 Days of Writing" is a big deception. I don't consider putting check marks next to boxes a day of writing. So many of the exercises in these books had absolutely no writing in them. The kids would draw lines or underline something. In the beginning my kids were excited to have something new for writing, but by the end of the second week they were dreading doing these books. I have put them on the shelves and will not be using them anymore. I'm not sure how these books got such a high rating. What a waste of money!
