Natrapel8 Hour Insect Repellent 1 Ounce Carded (29ml) (2 Pack)

I've used the Natrapel aerosol and it works well. I don't have to worry about plastics damage (because it has not DEET in it), which is the main reason I use Natrapel. Haven't used this pump spray version yet. However, both bottles had leaked a bit in transit, probably due to air pressure changes in transit. I cleaned off the bottles and tightened the pump spray caps, and I'll keep them in Zip-lock bags during travel. I think this leaking-in-transit thing is a "defect", because other products of various kinds get shipped without leakage.

We used to be die-hard DEET users when we needed to keep the mosquitoes at bay, but when we found out that the WHO lists both DEET and Picaridin as approved mosquito repellents we gave it a try.Over the past couple of years we've used this on multiple trips to Africa, Ecuador, Patagonia and home here in California and it reliably works without melting plastic and it smells way better than DEET and has a much better, less chemically feel on the skin.

3 stars because the product works to repel insects but packaging is not up to the job. The product arrived leaking (see photo) and I had made the purchase because the item (which I carry in my purse) had—I thought—evaporated. Now I suspect it had just leaked away.
