Battlestar Galactica Vault

Precursory info, but still the best compendium I've seen. I only wish there was more of everything. More sketches and concept art, more behind the scenes shots, and most of all, more textual content. The little that is there is great. Not too much a fan wouldn't have already known, but still. Physically, this is a great book. It could have been larger, but the stitching is great - feels like it will last a long time, the double fold out is nice, and the mix of photographs is excellent, though again, too sparse! This book felt more like a quick overview than a "vault". The goodies in the side pockets are half unnecessary. For example, the Cylon and ship pictures might as well just have been additional pages in the book. But the separate currency and CIC printouts add a nice tangible touch. More of the latter would have been nice, like a reproduction of the Cylon diagram in the opening scene of the miniseries. So overall, the book is a very nice, solidly put together compendium that I'll give all 5 starts only because it doesn't have much (any?) competition. I would have liked to see more... a lot more.

A very balanced look at one of my all time favorite shows "Battlestar Galactica." Great photos and info on the original series as well as the reimagined series, including Caprica. The section on the deeper meaning of both shows was very enlightening. My heart will always be with the original series, but I now have a greater appreciation and understanding of the reimagined show as well. One detriment--some of the novels and comics were mentioned but I wish there would have been some more photos of them and examination of their various timelines. Overall, a MUST BUY for any Battlestar Galactica fan. SO SAY WE ALL! AND... BY YOUR COMMAND!!

A true fan favorite due to the original and remake in one volume!

I'm sure it would have been a very nice book but it looks like It got beat up pretty good by the time I got to me. Tracking process not that great

Great book full of lots of history on both shows,and comes with two envelopes located in the front and back covers respectively. Each one contains some pretty cool prop replicas, plus copies of the storyboards used in tos Galactica. I haven't finished reading the book, but it's definitely a must have for Battlestar Galactica fans! So Say We All

It seems like the main focuses on the revival show them the classic. That's OK because I still like both programs but growing up I would like to see in a little bit more insight and behind-the-scenes pics and gossip on the original

If you are a fan of the two series, get this book - it's worth every penny! The book has two hard covers that open in opposite directions the cover you see here and the old Battlestar in the second cover that opens to the left. Inside are cool, documents in envelopes, concept renderings, story development ideas and historical photos.

It is good - so good, it is sold out. Grab a copy, if you see a reasonable price.

Well worth the money. This is a complete guide to both new and old Battlestar Galactica from a character, story and production viewpoint. It is a little sketchy in some areas, but that is made up for with the wonderful photographs and extras that gome with the package.
