Hard to use - Product works great, but the dispensing method is not great. It does not do well creating droplets, mainly makes a stream. Sometimes it doesn't do anything when I squeeze it. The tip of the dispenser holds the eye drops in well enough for this process to where I can hold the bottle upside down once I’ve squeezed some out and minimizes wasting any of the liquid. I used to get frustrated having to do this at first but now that I’ve found an effective way of using the bottle, I strangely like it. ha **Q: Does mfg read these? Would mfg consider putting these drops in a bottle that can be squeezed by arthritic thumbs?** A: I agree the bottle is a horrible design. Eyes are already dry, and then squeezing and trying to hold your eye open is torture! **Q: Has anyone used systane ultra and compare with this biotrue eye drop?** A: The Systane I used to use wasn’t Preservative free so I couldn’t use it with my contact lenses. But it did work for me. This BioTrue eye drops bottle is hard to squeeze the drops out more so than Systane in my opinion. And Optase makes my eyes so watery to the point it was irritating them. Though I do really wish that the eye drops lasted the whole day, not just half. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Difficult Packaging Design Overshadows Everything... *by C***S on 1 June 2025* The eyedrops themselves, when you can get the solution into your eye, are great - however - if you're purchasing these eyedrops for someone with hand weakness, tremors, mobility issues in general - I (unfortunately) do not recommend buying this. :( 1. It's NOT like the standard Visine style delivery system where you barely squeeze the bottle and you've got drops everywhere (and one or two are guaranteed to hit the target). You must REALLY SQUEEZE HARD before even one drop comes out. 2. While you very firmly squeeze the bottle for quite a few seconds until a drop is released - if you have unsteady hands, and can't stand with head tilted back for more than 5-10 seconds, this will be difficult for you. 3. The cap does NOT "lock" on - you cannot tell if the cap is secure.. If you're going to put these drops in your purse, be sure to put them in a ziplock baggie to avoid the probability that the cap will come off if the bottle is loosely in a side pocket, etc. The drops are nice - they are soothing & seem to work ok. But the package design is so awful, I'm on amazon today trying to find another similar product with an easier-to-use dispensing bottle. Bummer. **Updated with a photo** Just used the drops to flush some dust out of my eye - and decided to include a photo to illustrate what the core of the problem could be. The tip is SO TINY and "barely there". With other eyedrops, you have something you can see that physically points to your eye (those of us who are blind without glasses on will "get" this lol). When you hold this away from your eye - I swear it's impossible to hit your eyeball with the drop, so you have to move it closer to your eyeball. And even then you can't get the drop to fall onto your eyeball.
