Q: Does this product toast evenly on both sides of the bread?

Ours toasted very UNevenly no matter what setting or buttons pushed. (threw away a lot of trial pieces of bread). We noticed that a number of the coils were not lit up (red hot). We sent it back.

I think so. Great toaster, but it's best if you start with a toast free (empty) cycle.

Even though this toaster is expensive,it does a good job of toasting bread.Just be sure to empty the tray once a week.for best results.

Love the style and the functionality

Love the style and the functionality. Hard to get a decent piece of toast these days. This toaster produces exactly that. Find the defrost button dries out the bread too much, so don't use it.
