Fun game
The game is very fun. The different ways of traveling are a little weird and the batcycle isn’t great but those are pretty small aspects of the game.

Street Brawlers Beat-Down!
This game is magnificent with its romanticized dark and mysterious Gotham City skyline. Don't believe the negativity out there, too many frauds! The game has excellent detailing, and smooth engine coding by the developers! The game has high quality interactive environments, including a smooth yet sophisticated hardcore combat and customization system. You can play all characters and change any character at anytime. The map is very big with lots of missions and side quests in this open world game. The game runs great on PS5 & PC. I do agree that Sony needs to let the (PS4) just die already, because its holding back the PS5 potential. We really have not seen the PS5 full potential yet! There will be updates to improve the frame rates and throttle up to 60fps, though it currently runs super smooth at 30fps. Lots of love to the developers, you guys did a very good job on this game in my opinion!

If you're a fan of DC play it.
First of all ordered the game on an Amazon seller and was sent the European version Pal, instead of the NTSC version, which means I can play it but cannot buy any future dlc on my account, which sucks. That out the way, I was on the fence getting this game with all the mixed reviews, but decided to give it a chance and I have to say that in loving it. Already maxed level, not very far into the campaign, just running around the world as Redhood kicking but and taking names.Stability is a lot better with patches, activities can be repetitive, but for an old school rpg player like myself, grinding is in my nature. If you've been waiting to play any of the characters in the game, turn off your brain and give it a chance, you might enjoy it as much as me.

Finally A New DC Action Game!
I've waited a long time on a new DC game that wasn't a fighting game, and was more of a brawler. This was it. It's a lot of fun. I could have done without all the outfit upgrades I can put together to get this or that stat increase, not really something I'm interested in. Each of the four characters have their strengths in fights, and varied enough with a gorgeous backdrop of Gotham City (at least if you find concrete jungles gorgeous). Hope to see more like it going forward.

Not Arkham, but no bad
Most of the reviewers did not have day one patches, which I think does a lot for this game. I only started after release day and have yet to deal with any major issues that take away from the experience.I am one of the biggest Arkham fans that exists. Since Asylum, I have played all of those games at least once a year. Is this as good as Arkham Knight? No. Is it as good as Asylum? No. Is it a 3/10? Absolutely not. People looking for an Arkham experience will definitely be disappointed, but if you realize this is not the same, you should be alright. The combat is where you can really see this. It is much slower than any of the Arkham games or even Marvel's Spider Man. It only takes an hour or so to get used to.The game can be grindy and seems like it was possibly originally set up like Avengers, where it is kind of a pay to play system. There is nothing to pay for, but the grindiness of the game still holds.Graphics and sound are pretty good. I have not seen any major issues with graphics, but again, I have the patches installed. The story is alright. Batman dies, and a bunch of imitations protect Gotham. Can part of the reason this game is not very well liked have to do with not being Batman? Yes, definitely. The gadgets department is sorely lacking. Is the game worth 70 bucks? Not in my opinion. I would pay 40 for this and be happy. My advice, wait for a price drop.

Obviously meant to be a cheap 'freemium' game reworked at the last second.
This is the most generic, repetitive checklist game I've ever played. It doesn't even work well (and this is after the 'big' update patch that was supposed to fix everything). The controls are horrendous, you think you're grappling the thing in front of you? Nope, it's the one 50feet up behind you. The attacks automatically aim, so you're more likely the hit the guy next to your target rather than your actual target. Traversal is terrible, the glider controls are awful, the motorcycle is slow and fairly useless (you'll just ditch it later in the game). Most of the challenges are RNG based, so it's just up to luck if your AI drone killed enough targets as batgirl, or if the 'Most Wanted' enemies show up, or if you get to investigate the last bad guy, since most of the time you'll automatically defeat the last baddie with no input from you. After a point every single enemy just becomes a damage sponge with some form of auto-dodge, counter attack, armor, or teleporting away. It's just not fun, it becomes a chore. This is the definitive generic, checklist 'go here and do the same task over and over' game, that was obviously made to be some sort of live service / loot crate game at first (seriously, why does this even have a generic crafting system?) and was slapped together in the last year of development. It is painfully mediocre, and ends up being a massive chore to play.Bad game.
