Perfect for the professional installation such as public or private club Wi-Fi
We needed something that had the newer speeds and concurrent dual radios to upgrade from our previous Hawking Technologies single radio AP. This is used outdoors at an HOA pool for the members. It easily replaced the older unit and was up and running in 5 min. (took that long to wire direct and log into the unit and change all of the setting to what we wanted.) I am sure if you did not desire specific setting you could just turn it on and set it up through the GUI wirelessly.Very happy with this unit. I used the Hawking support for pre-purchase questions and they were awesome in helping me find the correct unit for what we wanted.

Good product with good distance and setup is a snap!
Nice product, easy install, easy programming. Getting about 500 feet in an open field with 3 trees in between, not bad. The 2.4ghz is all I am using at the moment so can't give you pros or cons on 5ghz.

Not so satisfied
For the price I expected it to work better. It cuts my gigabyte down to about sub 100mb

Works 100% as expected.
Placed this outside of my home to provide wifi network for some security cameras. I am not sure it will server 1000 feet but it works pretty dang good. Obviously better at distance on 2.5ghz than 5ghz.

Wi-Fi Solution for 6 acre farm
Researched for Wi-Fi for my 6 acre Cacao farm in Kauai. Mounting hardware provides almost limitless options. Could not ask for more. Initial set up was easy with one stipulation. Only way to set up is via Ethernet which slowed me down a bit as my Mac did not have one. Had to borrow a laptop and minus that inconvenience, setup was a breeze. Only suggestion is that the setup process be accessible via Wi-Fi.

Hours and hours later
Hours and many hours later and still won’t work. As soon as any device connects it connects to the internet for a sec and then when something is click no longer will load any content and will stop connecting. Giving up.

Read the instructions carefully
After reading the reviews I was skeptical, but have had good luck with Hawking's other products. The key to this product is that it requires a separate PoE (power over Ethernet) power injector (TP-LINK TL-PoE150S PoE) to provide remote power to the antenna. Hooked it up, followed the instructions and it works as described.
