Very helpful
Very sturdy. Much better than using pillows to prop up my arm. Good value.

It's made out of foam
Love the design, hate the comfort of this product. It's made out of foam. I wish it were like the product used at my occupational therapist. I really wanted it for my recovery, but the foam version sinks in under pressure and feels hot and itchy after a while. No good, so I returned it.

2nd review
This is my second review on this product. I find now that it bends under my arm weight and the 3 lb. dumbbell I am using to strengthen my wrist. I'm not happy with this product now and it's of no use to me

Cheap
I thought for 30 dollars this would besimilar to the high density foam onesthey use at the hospitalIt's that cheap open cell lightweightfoam like you get in the fabric store for 2bucks . It wont be durable and it's so lightIt flips over. Seriously 30 bucks

Recovering from surgery? Stick to stacking pillows. It's cheaper.
I spent a lot of time considering this purchase before hand surgery. As I feared, the foam wedge is too narrow and unstable with too shallow an incline. To use while seated, I need to place it atop a stack of pillows and rolled up blankets to keep my hand elevated above my heart. Even when I'm laying down, I need to add extra cushions to increase the height and angle of the wedge. An additional three inhes of width and height would help stabilize the product for use without the arm tray and increase the angle of incline to improve edema cotrol. If I could do it again, I would save my money.

Very useful purchase
I use this elevation pad during my rehab hand exercises mainly to rest my hand in a painless position. I have two, I use the other to rest my hand when I lie down; it helps with the blood circulation after my hand being in a cast and then a brace. For me it alleviates pain in my hand and wrist.

Great for hand surgery post op
So it's basically supportive foam that keeps your hand elevated but it's far more effective and comfortable than a pillowI'm day 4 of 14 of my hand surgery recovery and I'm very impressed with this inexpensive optionYour arm can shift while sleeping but overall it's pretty good
