this is a good upgrade for kindergarteners. Plenty of space and pockets for children to put paperwork, folders, snacks. My son is able to hold his holder and his jacket in the bigger pocket. I put snacks in the smaller pocket. There are two side pockets for water bottles. there are two more smaller pockets where i put facial tissues and masks. sometimes i see him putting stickers in the smallest pocket as well.The straps of the backpack are padded so it's very comfortable for the kids. The material of the backpack is thick and looks and feels durable.

I purchased this same one in a different color 2 years ago, never faded, no wear and tear, perfect! My grandson just wanted a change to a different color. Many pockets and zippers and pouches…. So much storage for a 7 year old, it’s fabulous! highly recommend!

This seems really well made. The zippers all work well and there are several pocket for separating different items. We are using this to take toddler supplies on outings. The main compartment is nice and roomy. I put three disposable diapers, a bulky pack of wipes, a change of clothes, and a changing pad in it. It can still hold more. In another pocket I was able to put some small format coloring books, a few crayons and a few fidget toys. In a third compartment I was able to put hand wipes, face wipes and a small pack of tissues. There are also two pouch pockets on the sides used for holding a water bottle. I like this bag a lot.
