Great tool for engineers
Really pleased with this purchase. I find it invaluable for my hobby which requires precise measurements of diameters of turned metal bars. Product feels top quality, extremely accurate, automatically turns itself off after inactivity to save battery life. The carry case is a nice touch too, and all for a reasonable price.

Accurate and Good Quality Calipers
I’ve found the Kynup Digital Caliper 150mm to be decent quality, accurate, and well made. There’s no noticeable play in the jaws, so measurements line up consistently and feel reliable. It comes in a neat case and includes a few extra batteries, which is a nice bonus. Overall, I’m happy with them and would recommend them.

Great little tool…
Well, on opening the cardboard sleeve and it’s blue plastic vacuum formed box you get to see it looking beautiful and shiny. There’s a couple of spare batteries, instruction manual, calliper tool and even a little screwdriver to be able to change the batteries with. The unit actually came with batteries in it which is great and providing a spare set is even better. I went for the slightly more expensive metal version as apposed to the cheaper plastic jawed one because I like to buy things that will hopefully last longer.Instruction manual is good, although it is pretty easy to understand, you can change the measuring unit via a little button, lock the device via a little top screw and it’s easy to operate the device for external, internal, depth measurements. Display was clear and easy to read and comes with off button to save its batteries.Instruction manual had a couple of mistakes in it, mentioned the locking screw was number 3 on the diagram and it’s actually number 2, (3 is the lcd display) and then also says to reset the unit by taking out the battery and it resets after 30 “secretary” which I presume should be “seconds” So it lost a star because of those mistakes, it’s the details that count.Unit feels well made, no issues with working it and hopefully it will serve us well for years to come.

Very well made and accurate
I wanted a replacement for my old vernier calipers as I'm getting old and its difficult to see the scale so I thought I would give these digital ones a try.So pleased I did as not only are they very accurate, the display is very easy to read.To check the accuratey I got my trusty feeler gauge out and, after checking some of the gauges with both my old vernier calipers as well as my micrometer to verify the sizes were correct I gave these new ones a try. And they were bang on.. well within their stated tolerances.See my video showing the 0.28mm gauge. It was difficult to film one handed but you can see this new digital vernier caliper measured it correctly. (I did test more but did not film and it was accurate on all of them)They are very well made and feel substantial in the hand. Come if a protective plastic case with a couple of spare batteries. Even has a conversion scale on thr back of them. All in all.. a very precise tool for relatively little money. Very happy with them.

Essential Features for Woodturning
This product was selected over other slightly cheaper options because it has a feature essential for woodturning - the ability to lock the slider in a fixed position. This facility appeared to be absent from many other competing models. It is possible to set the calliper to a target diameter, lock the position, and even power it off whilst using this setting to turn to that diameter. The unit is thin enough to get into most profiles. The unit seems well made and accurately machined steel. From a zero setting, I extended the callipers to full width and then fully closed them. This showed a repeatability of around 0.02 mm which is more than sufficient for purpose. The unit came with a plastic case and 2 spare batteries, so all in all a good value buy.

Great Bit of Kit
I had always wondered, prior to being placed in a position where I needed such a device, why people own these things. As a motorbike owner, this little device has become invaluable to me, especially when adjusting the tension on my drive chain to ensure my rear wheel was aligned perfectly, right down to the millimetre. Brilliant job. I also have found it a God send for sizing specific bolts, again on my motorcycle, that had stripped threads and required replacing. This device allowed me to measure with great accuracy the specific dimensions of the bolts needed, as requested by specialist websites selling bolts of all shapes and sizes. It's very easy to use, the LCD display is clear and easily read, quality-wise it feels good in the hands, not at all flimsy, and has made so many tasks of maintenance on my bike a breeze. A very good purchase to my mind. Recommended.

Excellent Value!
Great piece of quality kit, works straight out of the box and is also supplied with spare coin batteries. Tool is well made, solid with a quality paint finish, clear display and easy use. It’s really great when you purchase a well made tool like this that is a joy to use.

Good enough for most stuff
Have used them daily for about a year now. Not perfect, and when the battery is low it causes very low accuracy. However generally it provides accurate measurements and the full metal body makes it durable. Still slides smoothly despite regular use

Useful and precise.
Simple, accurate, useful. Precisely measures my lapidary stones to precision enough to verify my grinds. Feels like solid quality. Good blue case, nice and sturdy.

Amazing at this pricepoint
The battery contacts of my previous (6", run-of-the-mill, black plastic, red-green-blue buttons, LR44 battery) digital calipers were heavily corroded which made them work erratically. This breaks the entire tool, as the analog scale of these digital calipers is unusable. So I set out for a new pair of calipers. My use is in electronics and PCB design, to measure component pitch, PCB sizes and the like. So no need for high, multi-decimal precision, but a mm / inch conversion is nice to have. And 200mm / 8" comes in handy every now and then when measuring larger enclosures.Initially I was looking for a pair of calipers from an 'A' brand, but for my use their prices, especially for the 200mm ones with some IP protection, were just too high.So I searched some more and stumbled on these Kynup calipers. It promises IP54, which made me think the battery terminals might fare better than these in my previous pair. It shows mm and inches, and fractions as well. And it is 200mm / 8" long. In short, it ticked all my boxes for €40.-, so I ordered a pair.Amazon got them to me in 2 days and I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised. Apart from looking and performing exactly as advertised they also have some extra features I like:- They are completely made out of metal. Buttons, battery door, everything but the display window.- The battery door has an o-ring for protection against fluids.- They have auto-off. That feature will save me a lot of batteries.- Even more nice, they have auto-on. Just move the jaw to measure something will switch them on.- They run on CR2032, which I have more of lying around than the smaller batteries used in other offerings.I read some reviews where people complained that the decimals are smaller which makes them harder to read; that is indeed the case, on the other hand the fact that these decimals are separated by their size makes measurements easier to interpret, at least for me.The tool is a little 'coarse' to the feel; corners and sides are a bit sharper than with my 'A' brand non-digital calipers. This however is no big deal. You ain't going to cut yourselves on them :-)All in all I find them a lot better than the non 'A' brand digital calipers they replaced and at less then half the money. Obviously I cannot say anything yet about battery life or the tool's longevity, but if the electronics do not fail I have good hopes these calipers will last into my retirement.
