Q: Will this be good for kind of a narrow head?

that's a subjective question. Depends on what you think looks good. I will tell you that I have a head that is more narrow than wide and the top "bowl" of the hat sits a little high for my taste. Not a deal breaker b/c I wear the hat to keep my head cool in the sun and it drys very quickly. However I prefer my hats to have a lower, fitted profile so that the top of hat sits closer to my head. Also the adjustable strap is a bit annoying but overall still a good hat. I have two

No. I just got this. NoT SPF rated. Unfortunately it’s going back.

Q: is there a reflective band on the bib?

Just a gray band. Does not appear to be reflective, although I have not tried it. Nice hat though. For the money I believe you will be pleased.

Q: does it fit 5 years boy?

For 5 years kid, this hat it too big.
