Had a very old chandelier in one room and it hung low enough that I was occasionally hitting my head, often having to replace various bulbs, and it would flicker pretty regularly. In other words, it was time to replace it with something clean, modern, and effective.This flushmount light was very easy to install.- Turn off power at the breaker box.- Disconnect old light.- Match up the wires on your new light to your old wires.- Use an appropriate size wire nut (the ones that came with were too small to use with the heavier gauge that I was dealing with).- Throw a little electrical tape over the nut and wires for peace of mind.- Screw the metal mounting bracket that came with the light into the electrical box in the ceiling.- Guide any excess wire/slack into the box.- Line up the plastic guides on the side of the top part of the light with the openings in the bracket.- Twist.That should be it.It's very bright, bright enough that I'll probably grab a dimmer as well so I can use it more often.The night light feature is a nice touch, just be warned that it has a very warm color temperature, so you probably won't want to use it for much else.

Our dining room had a 2, 3 decades chandelier. I replaced it with 2 of this 7.5" flush mount ceiling light. I removed chandelier's mounting frame and junction box. Then I drilled a 4-1/4" hole to install a 2nd one.This ceiling light comes with 3 different installation kits. I use their junction boxes. They are is in high quality. Edges are not sharp at all. You may need gloves for other recessed light's J box but not this one. However, it's little tricky to put J box onto the light disk. Dimmer is a Lutron Diva LED+. No flickering at all.Nightlight function is the reason I bought them. So far I have installed 6 in different rooms. All set to 5000K. I recommend this light.

I was replacing a old fixture that turned out to be some rectangular, weird, antique, recessed ordeal. I was sure I was out of luck because I didn't have anything to mount the light to. Well- those oddball wire things were just the ticket! I'm excited about the night light feature too.

Easy to install and the nite lite feature is great!! Highly recommended!!!

Loved these lights. Easy to put up, came with all the necessary hardware, bright. Sadly it looks like they are no longer available.

Awesome light and the night light is great. Mounting bracket is a little difficult but you can make it work. Would like mounting points to be a little easier to engage and lock in.

Good light with several lighting selection very bright. Only thing I would change is a lower night light setting. It would be a little bright for in room setting but works well for hall.
