The sides bend and can’t hold hanging files up. It’s good for storing other things I think. It’s easy to assemble though.

I understand the 5-star reviews because these seem like an elegant solution to having files at home. HOWEVER - the lid shuts flush to the box, which means that any manila folders with tabs (meaning: all of them) and hanging files that have index tabs themselves are crushed down. (see photo)I didn't give one star because I can see why this would work if you didn't use folders or hanging files without tabs. This, however, didn't work for me and it an expensive lesson.

The boxes are nice looking, however the dimensions are a bit deceiving. Although they measure 10" in height on the outside, the inside dimension is about 9 ½" with the bottom in place. A standard file folder is 9 ½" so the files do not hang on the sides very well. Additionally the sides are pretty flimsy so file holders just fall inside the box. Needs support on the sides and I think the option is to put something around the rim to increase the height and make it sturdy. Do these people actually test a product before putting it up for sale? I will keep them for storage, but will look for another brand of box that will actually hold file folders.

When I first went to put a few file folders in at first and they wouldn’t stay, I was frustrated and contemplating returning this, BUT I put all 25 file folders in and now I can move them without them falling off. Due to the material, it definitely needs multiple file folders to help keep it sturdy, but if you do that it’s amazing and good to go!

Very disappointed that my files didn’t stay hung on the sides. They all collapsed within the box (see picture). Files also do not slide back and forth like a regular filing system. I was hoping the box would be more sturdy. It’s pretty flimsy but I don’t think it’s worth the trouble of returning so I’m keeping them. Also, this makes the lid sit raised as opposed to flat since the files are pushing up against it (see picture). I would not suggest stacking anything on top of these boxes because of how flimsy they are.

I cannot complain at all about this product. For the relatively small amount of filing I am doing at this point in my life these work great. The texture of the product is very nice and gives a very classy, professional feel. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a nice product that isn't overly expensive.

These are wonderful, exactly what I was looking for. They're nice looking so I don't need to hide them in a closet and they fit perfectly into my shelves.

I love this! It’s perfect for what I need it for. Assembly already done for you. Lightweight & yes the folders fit! Look at attached pic. I just might order another one in time. A tad too expensive for me but it’s still just what I need
