If your arm is stiff and hurt, it is too hard to roll up and down. Another item for the trash.
Also, the balls are hard plastic and hurt a sore arm.

Just Too TIght
I ordered this Foam Roller, Lightweight Muscle Roller for my adult son who lives with me. He has three bulging discs in his lower back pressing on nerves, so he is constantly rubbing his leg as pain shoots down it. I thought this roller might help him. I noticed he used it once and then set it aside. I decided to use it myself to see how it felt so I could write this review. I discovered why he put it aside. It is too tight. Granted, I have large legs as I am elderly and overweight. When I placed it on my legs and tried to roll it up and down them, it really hurt!! The rollers are too close together and place too much pressure on your legs. I even attempted to pull them apart a little more but was not successful. I only attempted to use the roller once as it hurt so badly. I just cannot recommend this roller as two of us couldn't take the pain from it.

Well made, limited uses but fair price for what it is
I am a competitive swim coach with 5 kids on the team. We have enough aches and pains to go around . . .and are heavy users of ice packs and massage guns. This works better on my calves than either of those options despite it's low tech. You simply pull the two sides open and put it on your leg and pull up or push down, then turn it to do the other part of your leg. I was surprised at how nice it felt.I didn't feel like it worked well on my arms or other parts of my body. My daughters felt the same way. But the parts it felt nice on, it felt really nice. This is nice heavy plastic and seems to have a sturdy construction.

Too tight and it hurts
I got this "Trigger Point Roller Massager" for my father. He disliked it and gave it back to me. I'm not a fan either. The biggest complaint is the roller is too tight and there's no way to adjust it. Unless you have very skinny leg or arm, this roller will hurt you.The price is not cheap as well and I personally won't buy it with my own money. Not recommended.

clunky and not that easy to use
Trigger Point Roller Massager reminds me of the fascia blaster. It has limited flexability so you may have trouble on some areas of your body, like the thighs. I would not use this on your neck. This is way too tight for that and it would be a safety hazard. It is uncomfortable to use, but you get accustomed to it. I suggest using on top of clothes to prevent skin injury and imprints. Skin feels a bit sore after use, but that subsides within a few minutes. You will get a workout using it and maneuvering with one had is difficult. It does work and relieve soreness. So if you are into this type of pain relief then there you go, but I can think of better ways to accomplish the same thing than this clunky apparatus.

Good for the Upper Quads and Hamstrings
I recently tried out a similar product to this, and while I didn't love it, I liked it, and wanted to see how this compares.I like it, but I don't love it.The spacing between is wider, so there isn't as much pressure on arms and calves, but lets me get the thigh, quads, and hamstrings where my leg was too wide for the other to reach.I like the massage rollers on this one better too, which are spiked and silicone for some give (instead of textured plastic) to get deeper into the muscle. It rolls well and I'm able to methodically get around the leg. It just doesn't annihilate those knots like I had hoped.

It works!
This is a rather ingenious little device to massage arms and legs. It was a little scary at first on my legs because it seemed too tight but the magic is that the handles on the device allow you to pull them apart to give less pressure, or like on my arms, press them down to get more pressure. The little nubs are a bit pokey so I prefer to do this over leggings and long sleeve shirt. Overall, this is a nice way to self-massage your arms and legs.
