0.2mm Copper Wire, 20m Enameled Coil Wire for Jewelry Making & Crafting

I'll dock this 1 star because the white plastic spool was cracked in several places.Not a deal breaker, but...This spool is the most thin and flimsy spool I've ever seen in my life. Very cheapo. LOL.It's most likely not the fault of the seller. The spool most likely compressed under load during shipment and crushed along the axis and cracked. Just sayin'. I have to be fair and honest. See photos.Once I use the wire for my serpentine coil winding project, I'll pretty much not need the spool again, but still...

I ordered this for a small Tesla coil I'm making. The wire came in good packaging and was undamaged and in good condition. The wire behaves just like good magnet wire of its size should. Winds good and is within the given dimensions. The only complaint I have is that, for the price, I feel that there should be more wire.

This 0.2mm copper wire, equivalent to about 32AWG, is extremely thin. The thinness makes this ideal for detailed crafts and jewelry making where you want a wire that's not dominating the design. I used it to wrap and link miniature glass beads for a delicate bracelet. The wire was perfect for achieving clean wraps without bulk.However, the thinness also means it's easy to kink and difficult to work with for larger projects. I would not expect to use this to wind heavy duty large electromagnet coils! The open spool also makes it tricky to dispense the wire smoothly. The copper wire comes wound on a barebones open spool, so it won't mount on a standard wire holder well.Overall, if you need super fine magnet wire for detailed crafting work, this product delivers. Just be aware of the thickness you need, and make sure it's suitable for your build. The open spool design is a bit clunky too. But for small, intricate wire wrapping and jewelry making, it's a fine choice. I've included some pictures next to a coke can and a sharpie market for a size comparison.
