Overall its quite good actually. Looks sure need improvement as silver bolts with dual rotation dial infront doesn't look elegant. Power:- it handles quite a big watt number range(220w max) but do remember the power supply in box is only upto 100w so to reach that max you need to buy new power supply so extra spending there. Still for 100w, i just listen at 30% volume as its that powerful. I have connected it with Bia Acoustics 8" Sub and just at that volume it sounds elegant and pleasing with enormous deep bass. I really like it. For medium size room just that much power is enough so think what would a full volume cover let alone 220w psu. So overall its amazing little device. Ports:- Has 2 way binding posts(banana plugs/bare wire) at back, i am using bare wire 2.5 sqmm(around 12-14 awg) to connect it directly to my sub as i don't like extra hanging wire and didn't want to cut my expensive ofc cable from dhivis. And that wire just barely went in so do remember that. Freq Range:- do note that TP-02 covers 20-120hz range shown on fosi webpage but amazon webpage shows 20-200hz. I confirmed with fosi team about this and they said unit as a whole covers 20-120hz but freq dial infront covers 20-200hz. Well thats confusing now. Would have been nice if freq dial had numeric markings on it. Comparison:- so comparing it with plate amps i would say its versatility and simplicity to just drag and drop, plus connect to any sub just makes it better option over plate amps. Also it doesn't lack in any way compared to AB sub plate amps. There is no noise at all when idle and sounds amazing. Plus consumes less power than class AB amps so its better for environment and budget. I checked with smart plug and it showed 20w while playing so good, if measured wrong then still it won't be much more than 30w as class D amps are power efficient devices so they are gaining more popularity now while still covering beautiful audio quality provided by AB amps. Also its cheaper in price also as recently it hit ₹5699 price mark. So save it cart to catch that deal when it comes back around.

Hi, received the amp yesterday with great packaging, and to my surprise it is driving my old Bic America F12 subwoofer driver with ease. By the way BIC America F12 has 150W continuous and 475W peak power. My subwoofer's old plate amp is gone bad. As my plate amp has gone for repairs hence there is a big opening at rear side of the cabinet other than the port, hence I am not able to get a deep base from it as of now, but eventually once I refix the plate this problem will be solved. If the old plate amp is repaired, I am planning to use this Fosi Audio TP-02 with my another 8" sub which is lying around unutilized.

The performance of Audio TP-02 Subwoofer Amplifier is outstanding & meeting the purpose of boosting bass from the active/ passive subwoofer.

Wow!! It can drive my old 12 inch sony xplod car subwoofer with ease and it can fill my huge room (18*14 high ceiling). My initial concern was whether this small amp (100-120 watts) can drive my big sub. Yes it can very well do it. Go for it if u have a car sub and don’t wanna spend huge on expensive HT subwoofers.

This amp was purchased to power a Dayton BST-1 Bass shaker. It does it with out a sweat. It is used on a sim racing cockpit under the pedals. It never goes over half as the rig would just vibrate to much. Perfect when using Simvibe software on PC, clean sound and very powerful. I have just got another to go under the seat, so two amps, 2 Dayton 50watt BST-1 bass shakers. Perfect combination. Would easily recommend for Bass shakers. Cannot verify for music as not tested, used for that.

Nutze den Verstärker für 2 Bass-Shaker von Reckhorn im Parallelbetrib (4 Ohem). Funktioniert gut und die Leistung ist mehr als ausreichend.

Ok i have now had my unit for almost 3 years powering a buttkicker mini in my sim rig and i really cant put it over a third as it rattles the whole rig with zero problems have a m04 too and that doesnt even compare probably getting another of these to replace the m04 highly recomended although i would not really get it for anything that needs more than 100w rms @ 4ohm i havent tried it with 2 ohm but it would raise distortion and wont get more than 108w from the power supply anyways so yeah 100w 4 ohm load perfect

This little ripper replaced a home-built subwoofer theatre amplifier that kept our movies “thumping” for over 20 years. It weighed about 4 kg with a massive torroid coil transformer feeding the amplifier push-pull circuit. No matter what hubby did, he could not get rid of the low frequency hum when no input signal was coming in from the Yamaha theatre receiver sub output. Apart from that, it thumped the passive subwoofer speaker for two decades. We decided we needed a replacement for “old hummer”and chose this unit. It arrived and I was a little taken aback - it is 1/4 the size of the previous amp. I wasn’t sure what to expect. Needless to say, I need not have worried. This little unit packs a massive punch into the 8 inch, 6 Ohm subwoofer speaker and when there is no input, it is as quiet as a church mouse. Bye bye humming... We have to have the FOSI set at about 1/3 to 1/2 volume otherwise the sub overpowers the rest of the theatre sound and starts rattling our French doors leading into the theatre room. I get that it is new and you can never be assured of the longevity, but the quality from the outside looks and feels good and the output at a low volume setting is simply amazing - despite its miniature size. Clear and concise. And no idle hum. :-) Long may it stay this way!
