Perfect replacement on my 911.
Perfect fit. I have a 2005 Porsche 911 997.1 C2, and these perfectly replaced the vanity mirror covers that broke off long ago. I was able to snap them in and didnโt need the screws that came with them. 10 minute job.

Good value, precision part, looks great, patience required.
This product works and looks great. I initially ordered the whole mirror assembly then realized I'd have to cut the light wires. Upon more careful inspection, saw that the plastic pieces that broke were on the flap itself. I struggled and tried to be gentle getting the flap installed onto the plastic "posts" in the original mirror assembly which required bending he flap a bit. After what felt like a long time, got it seated correctly and the light is activated when the flap is opened. I'm especially happy that I didn't lose the original function of the mirror AND I don't have to see the unsightly warning sticker/ label on the original. Good value, precision part, looks great.

Match Porsche plastics quite well
Fit and finish quite nice. Instructions could be written better. Would buy again and recommend, look quite good in my 2006 Porsche Cayman S.

Needs alternatives for install
Was going to install this in a 25 year old 986 Boxster convertible sun visor. Sun visor and the installed lighted vanity mirror assembly is comprised mostly of aged (CRISPY) plastic parts. Not going to risk destroying an aged visor and inserted lighted vanity mirror assembly by disassembling it. The quality of the plastic on this kit is great. Unfortunately, for the cost, there should be spring loaded pins in this replacement cover that can expand into the empty holes on the vanity mirror assembly without having to disassemble the very fragile lighted vanity mirror assembly from the even more fragile sun visor. Remove the risks of disassembly with deployable / spring loaded pins and this would be a winning product.

easy to install - especially since the clips were intact on visor. just put in one side bent it to fit the other side in. Works great!

Perfect fit an match !
These are a perfect fit and match for my 2000 Boxster with lighted vanity mirrors. The purist in me wishes they have the silly airbag warning print on them, but actually nicer this way. Agree that this is the one to get. Easy to install, especially with the provided trim tool and very clear instruction sheet. Just know that as others have stated it takes a bit of gentle flexing of both the mirror frame and cover to get these on to the pins, so take your time, but once on, good as new ;-)
