I’ve only use a couple times over the standard knife jig but haven’t 100% seen the value in it over the normal jig yet. I had a longer knife that was very think that even this wasn’t holding well and allowed extra tip flex where I thought this added size would avoid. In fairness though the knife would have been a challenge in anything given the cheaper quality most likely. For the higher end knives though where size isn’t an issue I haven’t been able to really use this over the standard jig with any noticeable benefit noticed yet. Well built though, like all Tormek products, and know it will hold up well.

Il fait parfaitement le job et effectivement pour les couteaux large c'est vraiment très très bien. Pour les petits couteaux par contre je vous conseillerais d'aller regarder des vidéos i-sharpen qui vend un petit imprimé 3D qui peut remplacer la poignée, pour le dispositif de centrage Tormek normal pour couteaux normaux. Il est bien mieux.
