Dont let the price fool you- this is a great reel with a cheap tag! Works just as good as my $100 Pleuger reel and looks fancier then it. Ive caught 5lb bass on it all day with zero problems.

Very surprised with the feel of the reel for so cheap. Very happy with it. Cast smooth reels smooth and drag is great. Only complaint is it says it’s a 3000 but it’s the size of my name brand 2000 size reels.

Nice for working with on a small boat

2000 series spooled w/ 8lb mono, paired with an ugly stik lite pro 6'6" medium 1 pc weighs 14.7 ounces.Perfectly serviceable reel. Materials are not as nice as they look in the pictures, but are on par with anything you would buy off the shelf at a big box store in the $50 or less price range. Haven't fought anything real big size with it, but has stood up to several days of fishing catching bluegill, crappie, and a couple smaller bass. For 20 bux or less this is a no brainer.

I haven’t fished with it yet but did spool it and it seems to function very smoothly and the materials seem to be of decent quality. Te one downfall as to why I’m writing this revie is the size I purchased a 3000 and after getting it I compared the line capacity and overall size to one of my 2500 from daiwa and this is a decent amount smaller good thing I didn’t order the 2000z

Decent and smooth. Handle is huge but for the price, works as expected.
