I had wanted this bp for a long time. It's a very attractive version of the sonnet. Excellent writer but that's true of all sonnets. Nice grip and beautifully finished.

This pen is a joy to look at. It is well made and it has the Parker traditional quality. This pen is a practicable alternative to a messy roller ball or a messy fountain pen. You need a ball point or a gel for sustained note taking.

I had been considering the Parker Sonnet Cisele Ballpoint Pen for a long time and finally decided to buy it recently. I can now say it has met my expectations. It is solidly built, absolutely gorgeous to look at, and writes surprisingly well with the included Parker Quink refill. I had seen older versions with chrome trim, but now that I have this one with gold trim I am quite pleased with it. My only suggestion for Parker is to someday come out with a slightly larger pen with the Cisele design, as the Sonnet is just barely big enough for me. Otherwise highly recommended.

I had one of these pens in the mid '70's - 90's. I lost it after using it for many years and decided to get another. I'm disappointed. It's lighter, the etching is not nearly as deep as previously (likely because the lightened it by making the case thinner, therefore they can't etch as deeply) and most surprisingly, it doesn't write nearly as well. I would have assumed that the ink and ballpoint technology would have improved (it has with many of my other pens such as Mont Blanc and Lamy) but the gel just runs and the ballpoint is scratchy and irregular. I also think it's thinner than it was in the past. Overall, a disappointment. Perhaps if I had never had an older model, I'd think it was OK, but it is not nearly as good as I remember. It still looks good, though!

Writes fantastic and feels like a good old fashioned Parker. Beware of the cheap China made copies sold on the auction sites. They are total junk. If you don't want to spend the big bucks on a platinum Montblanc, this is the alternative and feels like quality. Great compromise. Parker does a great job with the pen but as always, remember; a pen is only as good as its cartridge. I've seen some very bad 3rd party Montblanc replacements that are garbage and should be avoided. Same with Parker, Schaefer or other ink replacements. Overall, great. Not cheap but nothing like the high dollar pens. Pros: Quality, feel, and performance. Cons: A little pricey. Don't get it if you are prone to losing pens/pencils like so many I know. Otherwise, yes and yes. Recommended? Yes.

シズレパターンが好きでずっと気になっていたペンなのですが、ジェットストリームの替芯がパーカーにも使えることを知って、このたび思い切って購入。 インクはデフォルトで、『QUINK flow』が入っていました。 １日の中で使う間隔が開くせいもあってか、書き出しに掠れることがあったり、紙との抵抗がある感じでした。(スラスラ書けるとは違うという) 使い切るのを待たず、ジェットストリームの替芯(SXR-600)の0.38ミリに交換。 すると、書き心地はローラーボールで、書いた跡はボールペンという、驚きのなめらかな書き心地に。 手帳に小さい字を書きこむ用途が主なので、細すぎると思った0.38ミリでちょうどよかったです。 ジェットストリームのインクのサラサラとした滑り良さと、パーカーを代表するソネットプレミアムシズレの、当にいいとこ取りのペンになりました。
