LIFE SAVER that allowed me to finally sleep and function! canker sores caused by vaping.....
I suddenly developed INTENSE oral pain with 2 teeth becoming extremely sensitive. Enough pain that I literally cried. The pain must have hit a nerve because it was the bottom jaw, top jaw, to the ear and eye...The whole right side of my face. Here is what actually happened: I switched vapes and was experiencing all of this sudden oral pain. I stopped that particular vape and went back to the original. Pain almost completely stopped. I looked at the roof of my my mouth near my gum line as it felt very sensitive and somewhat raw in that area to see that I have about 4 or 5 canker sores. I never had this before, ever. You can see them MUCH easier if you shine a green light on them. I used a type of peroxide gel on them marketed for canker sores, but it dripped down onto my teeth and caused other intense pains..... IF you have sensitive teeth, DO NOT use Gly-Oxide mouth sore rinse!!! Homeopathic borax works for canker sores too. I finally discovered how to fix this issue.....FIRST thing in the morning while I had no pain was to put this Kanka on the roof of my mouth near the gum line and wait a min. THEN brush me teeth carefully with a calcium toothpaste sprinkled with some l-arginine to eliminate the sensitivity caused by the Gly-Oxide.... Repeat the same thing at night. If you have some l-arginine capsules, you can open one and put some on your toothbrush with some mild flavored calcium toothpaste WITHOUT SLS. (I used Coral toothpaste and also Biomed calcimax) This Kanka stuff is weird. I spilled it by mistake and it got all over my hand. It reminds me of super glue. It dries to a sticky coating that is hard to remove. It does numb great, but if you feel the numbing wearing off, it still works and in my case it lasted about 5 hours until I needed to do this again before bed. Once I was asleep, I did not awake because of any pain. As long as I did not hit this area with my toothbrush or a harsh paste, or chew too much on that side, I was ok. If you vape and have sudden oral pain, look to your vape first! That is what caused all of this nonsense with me so you may have recently changed flavors or brands. If that is the case, stop immediately! I almost got a root canal for no reason! This item is a household necessity. You never know when you will need it, so it is good to get one now while you are reading this. It is cheap and works! You know the next time you have a toothache will be on a Friday afternoon just as the dentist is closing...... That will be one LONG weekend for you!

This product works!!
I thought the brush on Kanka worked well, but the Kanka liquid is phenomenal on mouth pain! (And I've tried them all!) And it tastes good. I have a dental appliance that kinda rubs on my tongue and it's painful when eating. This liquid helps soothe the area completely and for quite a while. If you have dental pain try it, you'll be glad you did.

The Only Product That Actually Gives Me Real Relief โ A Long-Time Must-Have
I've been using Kank-A Mouth Pain Liquid for many years now, and it is hands down the only product that provides me real relief from canker sores. The maximum strength formula works fast, and the protective coating it forms over the sore makes a huge differenceโit shields the area from irritation while the pain relief kicks in, which allows me to eat, drink, and talk without that constant, nagging discomfort. The included applicator makes it easy to target exactly where you need it without making a mess, and a little goes a long way so the small bottle lasts surprisingly well. I've tried other canker sore products over the years and nothing else has come close to the consistent relief this one delivers every single time. If you suffer from canker sores and haven't tried Kank-A yet, stop settling for products that barely take the edge offโthis is the real deal and I won't be without it.

Terrible lid, worth every cent.
I grew up using this stuff for my canker sores (stopped using Crest toothpaste and no one in the family ever had another one again). My tongue gets swollen โlie bumpsโ from time to time (and no I wonโt be quitting spicy, acidic food, tyvm) and they are not only annoying to feel, but also tender as heckkkk. So I resorted back to Kanka for them for a couple years now and it does work. It doesnโt last on the tongue as long as Iโd like and burns like helllllll on open wounds (aka a fallen off papillae) but it works short term and that enough for me. The taste I see people complain about but honestly, itโs so nostalgic at this point that I associate the taste with pain relief. If it hurts bad enough, you wonโt care. It also dissipates very quickly and doesnโt linger. I personally dip a q-tip in mine since I use it long term vs the honeycomb top. Or Iโll let it fall off the stick on my tongue - obviously this works depending on where the sore is. My ONE pain point is the damn lid. IT LEAKS. and this stuff is stickyyyyyy. The one in the photo was stored on its side with a tighten cap. Theyโve all done this for as long as I remember so donโt just throw it in a drawer for next time! Keep it upright. When I travel with it, I keep it in a ziplock to avoid getting it all over my purse. Iโm almost out of my current one so Iโm going to look into the new gel one they have. Both for sanitary and travel reasons.

Instant and long lasting relief.
Greatest stuff ever for canker sores and bit lips. A druggist Recommended Kanka about 15 years ago and it was terrific, but I could not find it recently in any of the chain drugstores. I was ecstatic to find it on Amazon and Iโm here to say that it is still terrific. It really numbs the pain. Itโs sticky and you apply it with a glass rod stuck in the cap. I dry my lips with cotton or toilet paper, leaving the wad under my tongue to absorb saliva while I apply to the sore and let it dry. I just bought three to keep at home, vacation home and travel kit.

Instant relief, good price!
Until the date of this review I have reviewed only a few products on amazon despite purchasing for almost a decade. Seeing how effective this product is I just had to start leaving a review. I have been dealing with canker sores for years, every time I get stressed, accidentally bite my cheek, or even rarely eat something spicy I get a canker sore and it doesn't go away. I have tried hydrogen peroxide, salt-water gargle, and even putting salt on the actual sore (OW). My sores stay for almost 2 weeks even when I try all this. It got to the points where I have begun to tolerate the pain while eating but for almost anything else (like kissing) it would sting. I even tried holding liquor over the sore and it provided temporary relief. Now looking on amazon I found many, many products claiming to be of help. I saw this one and took a shot in the dark and oh boy did it pan out. This numbs your sore and whatever it comes in contact with (so be careful not to get it somewhere you don't want to otherwise it's going to make it numb). It lasts a while and I did have to re-apply it a few times during the day (every few hours) but the next day there was major progress! The day after? Pretty much gone. I have never experienced a product so useful so I bought extras in case I'm not at home and need it. tl;dr - It works. It numbs whatever you put it in. Expect to have it start clearing up within a day or two. After 2 it'll probably be gone or no longer hurt.

Stays Tacky
Did the formula change?. I remember it used to be darker and thicker. This last one purchased seems a little runnier and it NEVER dries/sets. Even if thoroughly drying the area first, the solution stays gooey and wears off faster.
