It's a about 90 minute read for adults such as myself, and it does answer some questions, but most were already pieced together by the barrage of trailers they've released so far.The writing isn't too bad, it's mostly done in Peter Parker's first person, which seems like a great way to connect with its target audience. It does take some big jumps in exposition, almost as if it were written directly from a script, and excluding parts where it would say "Ext. - Rooftop - Night" and such. You'll be asking yourself things like "Wait, where is now? Is he dressed as Spider-man already?" The same goes for some of the action sequences, too, in where I had to go back to what I had seen in the trailers to get a proper visual at times.And like the other review pointed out, this is not the complete movie, I'm guessing it stops at about the halfway point. I don't think a kid reading this would mind too much, but keep in mind that if you buy this for one you're definitely going to have to take them to the theater later. Of course, like many of these books, only part of the story was told in anticipation of the film.Still, this book gave a well-written preview.
