Great product... Only 1 fixable flaw
Overall a great product for when you take the doors off of your Jeep, with only one flaw. The whistling sound you hear when driving. However, I found a simple solution... Clear silicone.Where the rubber meets the metal on the backside of the mirror I filled that space with a thin head of clear silicone and the whistling is GONE!!

Yes it DOES fit my 2013 Jeep Wrangler
Occasionally I like to remove the doors on my 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. Legally, I still need side mirrors. This Rugged Ridge mirror kit can be installed in a few minutes, and the mirror and mounting rod can be "quick disconnected" easily and stored in the garage when the doors are back on. When I open my doors with the mounting brackets installed, the doors swing far enough away from the vehicle's a-pillar to avoid contact between the original mirrors and the new mounting bracket. The mounting bracket has a foam pad on the side that makes contact with the vehicle, so you won't be damaging your paint when installed. If I were to make a recommendation, during installation, only remove one bolt at a time, and install the new bracket with one new bolt before removing the other bolt. Then, with the first bolt threaded but loose, remove the second bolt and replace it with the new bolt through the mounting bracket. This will help keep things inside the pillar from shifting around, potentially risking damage to the threads on the "internal" parts you're bolting back together. I'm not sure what it was, but there appeared to be a metal piece inside my pillar that jiggled around a little bit when I had both bolts out during my first bracket installation. I used this method on the passenger side and installation went much smoother.UPDATE: One further recommendation: Replace the washers that come with this kit with a stainless Belleville washer (such as https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017TDESN0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ). The original washers rust quickly with exposure to the elements, and the stainless ones survived the winter flawlessly.

I have purchased various products by them already and have been happy with them all
Rugged Ridge makes a quality products. I have purchased various products by them already and have been happy with them all. These mirrors are of same high-quality and easy install. While directions can be tricky to decipher, it is pretty self explanitory. My only gripe about these mirrors are the whistle sound they make while driving. I drive with music 99% of the time, so it is not a huge problem, but still noteable. The mirrors need to be tight...mirrors will fold in at high speeds if not tight (I found that out the hard way).Overall pleased with the mirrors. I can leave the brackets on with the doors attached and easily reattach the mirrors that I fit under the rear floor mat, when not in use.

Solid choice
They whistle above 30mph, so that’s a little annoying. Apart from that, they’re easy to install, and adjust. Once you get them into place, tighten the three little screws on the back of the mirror. This keeps them locked in place. They don’t tell you that in the instructions, so the first time I drove without tightening them, the mirrors folded in, and I thought they were junk. They’re not. They’re great mirrors for the price.

Love These!
Every time someone says "it's a jeep so deal with it" a cute, orphan puppy dies. This is a ridiculous notion floating around the heads of some jeep owners. It doesn't take much thinking to see the shortcoming of this mindset. We wouldn't even have jeeps if people applied this mindset to life. So when I read people who say "yeah these whistle, but it's a jeep, deal with it," I slap my phone hoping they can feel it.All that being said, they do whistle. But it's not the earsplitting shriek of a banshee some seem to see it as. When driving with the doors off, which you must be doing since you're using these, my ears just register it as a little more wind noise. I'm not one of those people who can tell you what "note" a lawnmower engine is sounding, but I'm a musician, so my ears work adequately.Of course I would rather they not whistle. And I did try the silicone fix some people have suggested. Unfortunately I'm no virtuoso with a silicone tube, so I missed some spots and the mirrors still whistle. But it's not a big enough deal to me to replace them. I might sling a little more silicone on them someday. As to them folding in, I've not experienced this once. There are teeth in the hinge and the bracket (I have no idea if that's what those parts are called), and a screw that you use to fasten them, so if they're folding in from the wind, make them tighter. They are a very good size, and while I definitely prefer the visibility of the stock mirrors, these do a fine job. Plus they're really just to keep me street legal. There are no doors and no roof, so I usually just turn my head when I want to see behind me.There are probably better mirrors out there. But for someone like me who lives in a small town and doesn't want to drive an hour to buy mirrors, having these show up on my front door the next day was really great. I used them all summer and I'm not going out looking for anything new for next year.I didn't receive jack for this review. Even if I had, I'm too big of a fan of honesty to let some jerk manipulate my review by giving me free stuff. The review written above represents my honest, unfiltered opinion of the product.

These are great i love the fact that the mount just installs ...
These are great i love the fact that the mount just installs in the stock bolts locations leaving no drilling required. When looking for mirrors i originally was looking to save money and just get the motorcycle mirrors and drop them into my door hinges however with all the negative reviews of them blowing around while driving I'm so glad i spend the extra dough and bought a set of these. These are extremely secure and look really nice as well. Yet again excellent product from rugged ridge

Cheaper than a ticket...
Well it is easy to mount and take down... it whistles in the wind at around +70km/h.I don’t believe I need a mirror, but buying this is cheaper than a ticket for not having a driver side mirror here in Ontario. But it at least didn’t move while I was driving up to 95km/h... not sure how well it would hold up on the 400 series highways...Also takes some getting used to, as it seems to stick out a ways.

Great for Offroad and quick doors/off hassle free conversion.
Installs easily, I only notice the whistle if I listen very very closely (with the doors and top off going highway speed is not going to be silent). It does tend to bend back at highway speeds but I think some adjustment of the knob, a friction washer, or perhaps even a guyline would solve it. It's not a problem though, as I just push it back with my hand after I enter city/offroad speeds. The Hard Door mirrors are superior when you have the doors on, with placement closer to the driver, so it's nice I don't have to relocate them, just pop these off and throw the hard doors on.

Work great
People complained of not staying in place, setting them up and whistling.Mine stay great. I am nervous of over-tightening though. First summer with jeep so I'm not going like a rocket and enjoying the air. They are a pain to set up passenger mirror but not impossible by yourself. When I put them back on each time they are mostly good to go. I did add a small concave mirror to help on both sides. I wonder if the rectangle versions give more area for the concave mirrorYes they do make noise which is only noticeable at lower speeds as jeep noise decreases. I've tried a bead a silicone but that didn't work and peeled of. Next I'll bedline it.

Whistling sound is annoying
Way too overprice because of the whistling sound. On the internet, they say you can fix it with some clear silicone but why do we need to fix something that is already new!! Easy to install... took me 5 minutes each side... looks good but when you start driving you can hear the sound ever after going 40km /h... even with the silicone you can hear the sound. I`m returning this now!
