The brace didn't actually fit size small more importantly it really does not support the ankle what so ever.. waste of time and money.Sorry to say but it did not do what it said it could do.

Really has helped my drop foot to feel better... what I really love about it is I can wear regular shoes now..

This drop foot brace is decent. It isn't quite as strong or heavy duty as some other options, but it is more comfortable and does provide the ability to wear underneath a shoe as long as the shoe is roomy on the inside. The price seems a bit high for what this is.

Summary: Ankle Foot Orthosis (AFO), is typically suffered by stroke victims, or other medical issues such as MS, TBI, Cerebral Palsy, and just bone fractures. Ordered this for an elderly stroke victim. In search for an AFO specific brace, I came across many other similar ankle support offerings, so will be discussing the differences. Please note that I am not a medical professional, but I will be making these evaluations from discussions with medical professionals, and applying my engineering perspective to those discussions.Observations: The first option that was recommended is the $300 version by PUSH Store. That's the #1 solution if your medical plan will cover the cost. If not, you might be thinking that an alternate device might work? This was really tight around my foot but not my ankle. And not the part that you can adjust but the part you slip your foot into. I have very small feet 5.5 to 6.5 depending on brand and this was very very small. It should be for children not adults.

This is quite snug/ so be prepared for your toes to be squeezed together if you have wide feet- especially if they have any swelling. My mom had a traumatic injury with severe foot drop. This would be a great option for her but the swelling needs to go downs roux for this to be comfortable for her.

Does not help my drop foot at all.Too thick and poses more of a risk as it created a tripping hazard with the thick bottom.
