I don’t normally write reviews but I purchase a lot on Amazon.. I was apprehensive on buying these because there’s a lot of hit/miss reviews but I took a chance on them given the circumstances I needed them for and I’m so glad I did!!! For starters, the doves are huge so expect that! I got them inflated with helium at party city and I was persistent with them to inflate them as much as they can and I also didn’t attach the tails on mine. To be honest they looked very beautiful and dove like without them. I’ve seen a review where some said the tails weighed them down, as to why I chose to opt out of including them. They stayed inflated for about 5 hours until we released them and I’d say about only 2-3 we’re starting to deflate BUT still floated and went off with the rest.. I’d say if you really want them, give it a shot and - don’t attach tails - over inflate with helium (at a party city, no at home helium) - store them in a cool dry room Cons: It is costly if that’s a factor, at my local party city it goes by sizing so each dove cost about $10/dove

I love these balloons! They are HUGE! When we had them filled with helium we had a difficult time getting the tip inserted into the hole at the bottom at first, but once you get the tip inserted fully they blow up without a problem. These balloons would be perfect for any funeral, memorial, or even a church service. They are larger than what I expected but that was a good thing. They held the helium overnight and stayed tight as well. The ballon material was nice and thick. Very strong, they will not pop easily. And the price was great for how many I got. I bought these for my stillborn son’s 2nd birthday anniversary, to do a ballon release with our family. They were big enough that we could see them floating through the sky perfectly, and they lasted longer than standard balloons. Perfect! I will be using these every year!

I ordered these because I wanted to keep wildlife safe. The reviews were mixed so I paid attention to the fact that home helium tanks would not be sufficient. We had them blown up at Party City and unfortunately it was $3 per balloon but it was so worth it! They are HUGE! This was for my son's first heavenly birthday and they floated through the air beautifully like REAL birds! I have never seen anything so beautiful before! I got so many compliments. Buy them and have them blown up at a store, and you won't be disappointed! (We also cut the string so there was no strings attached when we let them go).

I ordered these balloons for a memorial service. I had a live dove release, and I wanted the balloons to be released after the real doves were released. Before the service, I took one outside, and it flopped straight to the ground. I tried helium, and I also have an electric balloon pump. Nothing worked; as you can see from the picture, they never made it outside. I ordered ribbons to tie onto the balloons and markers so the family could write sweet quotes. One of the balloons had a hole in the top, sticking the tail onto the balloon wasn't that bad, the bad part was all of that work for nothing. Tell me how do you return 11 dove balloons filled with air to get a refund that are worthless? I did give 5 stars for easy to inflate and I would have giving a -0 for value and easy to use, because it was a waste of my money, and I can't say they were easy to use if they didn't work. To the seller, their is something wrong with your product, great idea but worthless to use. I took a chance on your product, using 2 different types of air and nothing worked. I will be requesting a refund.

These are great for a remembrance balloon release. I got them aired up at party city and had no problem with them floating. Upon release they drifted kind of low before taking off and floating up so make sure you have a large clear area. They didn’t come with instructions and the tails do not air up and need to be attached separately with the glue dots they provided. Would recommend and use again in the future for other events

I bought these for a celebration of life on my grandfathers passing and it made saying goodbye to him all the more special. Everyone let them go with a prayer/words of love and they floated away. One thing I would recommend is to not put the tail it comes with because it does weigh them down, we decided to not put them and they floated nicely.

These were for a memorial and they did not disappoint. I did have a store put helium in them and it is pretty expensive $91.00 for the 12. Make sure you have enough room in your car for them and have them bagged if traveling with them. Release them away from trees and power lines. We had no problems with the balloons.

So, I read a lot of reviews and took a chance. I saw some that suggested having them filled at Party City (or somewhere similar) but that wasn't in the budget. My family opted to buy a tank to fill them. They are very hit or miss. Out of the 8 that we used, only about 2 of them actually made it quickly. The others followed very slowly behind, not sure if some of them made it very far before falling. They do not hold up well if you're trying to do a balloon release as we did. They are VERY large. The 2 that made it fully up in the sky were great. I'd just say if you do get them definitely expect to not have a full flock flying in the sky, it's not happening lol They are very large as I stated and have lots of room for writing messages with a sharpie if you'd like though. It was still a nice way to say Happy Birthday in Heaven to my son. I have another pack ( since I bought two just in case) so maybe next year we can try again or even utilize them for a balloon arch or something that doesn't require helium filling. I do like that they are biodegradable though and balloon releases are banned here because of the litter of reg balloons so it was a good option in that regard. I think the material they are made of is just too heavy for them to "fly" very well.

Pricey per balloon but worth it. These doves took off for some distance with little to no wind, no problem. We left the tails off and filled them with helium indoors about 6 holds prior to releasing them. Would buy again.

We bought the Dove balloons to release when my son passed away we took them in to get filled but the dove's wouldn't go up waste of money first I pay for the Dove balloons then I pay 60 .OO to have them fill only to have to buy new balloons not at all happy the dove's were my son's favorite bird so I was so happy to see them wrong there no good it was a very important day just very sad over that

I bought these for the 40th day of his passing to be set off at the cemetery and they were beautiful they did float however they got stuck in trees but that's not the balloons fault it was the wind. I recommend me they are nice
