We moved into a house that the travertine countertops were never taken care of. There were multiple spots that needed tending too plus an area that I sliced lemons on and the juice dripped off of the cutting board. I was horrified at what I had done. I didn’t know that acids from citrus and vinegar could spot up the travertine. The acid created dull spots that ate up the finish. I bought FIla and read mixed reviews, mostly saying that you MUST follow the directions. I took a chance because I was ready to get new countertops. What did I have to lose? I was surprised and we’ll be keeping our countertops. It involved a a bit of determination and labor but I am pleased. It didn’t take off every spot but enough that I’ll keep my countertops. I also bought the FIla Neutral Cleaner and Resealer for a weekly all over spray.

Followed directions carefully. No difference seen on the table

I am very pleased with this kit. It was used on a Carrara marble tabletop whose finish had been worn and stained from heat and water.Here are some tips:Read the instructions thoroughly. They are only 2 pages. Do not read as you go.Do not expect this product to remove scratches. You’re stuck with those.Read in advance what types of stone this product is made for. I believe some of the negative reviews were a result of using it on the wrong material.If possible, place your marble project in direct sunlight so that you can really see the sections that need to be worked. My table had significant areas that needed work that were visible only when the light hit it.When you are working in the marble 2 and marble 3, use a circular motion at least for 2 minutes with EVERY section. 120 circles per section with marble 2, 120 circles per section with marble 3, and then 120 circles per section with the cleaner. Invest 30-60 minutes on these steps. You will get out what you put in, trust me.Use marble 1 pad only if you need to because it will fully strip the section you are using it on.Between marble 2 and marble 3 steps, wipe down your project with a wet cloth, then dry completely with a paper towel. Let it sit for 5 minutes and really dry. You’ll see what areas you may have to go over again one or two times with marble 2.My table came out beautiful by following these steps. Good luck!

Is not like deep clean but it works ok

This product did take out some of the scratches on my marble countertop, but left a film and now the shine is totally gone - I even put a second coat of the polish on. Now what do I do?

Works exactly as advertised. The process is simple, requires minimal effort, and requires a reasonable amount of time buffing and polishing.

Don’t try product. I am out $62 for a worthless box of stuff that did not touch stains. Then they will not let you return or give you your money.

Good product. Instructions on product not very good . You have to learn as you go but it does work
