Hopper will not hold 125pounds. Will only hold 35 pounds of a micro fertilizer. Will not feed down the hopper due to a flat bottom and spinner clip is to high on shaft

Great concept but the motor variable speed switch will not work. The motor will only run one speed and only when the wires are swapped going to the battery. I’m gonna just put a toggle switch and not use the variable speed. I called customer service to try to buy the controller and she told me they just ordered them from China and no parts are available. So I paid $374 with tax and the only way to buy a part is to spend $374 more dollars. I did fill the hopper with about 35 pounds of fertilizer and spread it. I had to help get the spinner to spin with my hand. It’s probably gonna work for me after I do some Jerry rigging.Just be aware that Sportman’s Guide is through with you when they sell it. I would recommend anybody that wants one buy it from another vendor that will be available if they need help.

Overall good spreader, just came with a damaged gate linkage cable. With some work it’s a solid spreader.
