PNY 256GB PRO Elite Class 10 U3 microSDXC Flash Memory Card

I purchased 2 of these PNY 256GB Pro Elite cards for use with my 2 new GoPro Hero 8 Black cameras. I chose them because PNY has generally been the fastest, most reliable cards I've owned (4 128GB's for cellphones, tablets and 1 Gizmosphere Gizmo 2, 1 512GB for Samsung Note 9 512GB making it a 1TB and only the oldest card (128GB in Gizmo 2, used continuously for a decade or so) has ever failed. Every single Samsung I've owned has failed quickly (15 days to 3 months in). I've had multiple SanDisk MicroSD's fail (and only the top level SanDisk has a lifetime warranty as the PNY's do, they often fail but nowhere near as often as the Samsung cards have). Generally speaking my PNY’s have been the fastest and most reliable cards I've ever owned and the lifetime warranty seals the deal. Card failed? Call, chat online with or tweet with them, show your receipt for it and they send you whatever card is equal to the one which failed (if yours is 1+ generation back) in the same size or larger depending on what they have to provide for the size (never a smaller card). The absolute most reliable card available in my opinion.The safest possible purchase for MicroSD cards in my opinion.

I received the item today and plug it to my computer to see how many available storage i could put on it. The available capacity is 238gb.The packaging is so safe. It covers with a thick extra plastic in which any liquid cannot make it wet.Excited to put this on my rove dash cam.BUT upon trying to used this on my dash cam, my dash cam didn't recognized it. I tried it formatting on my dash cam but still not getting recognized to it. So i decided to return but come up to conclusion that it would work on my gopro hero7. So i tried it and it worked and save videos.Decided to cancel the return as it is worth it and cheaper price for a 128gb micro sd card.Fast and very good in response during the picture capture.

Awesome micro SD card and easy setup! Good price also. Most items I buy are from pny. Been buying their products for over 20 years. Their other item i have bought in 2014 was a backup battery for cell phones and tablets.....its awesome and works awesome to this day! Thanks PNY😎👍 for making great products!

Well all the reviews are scary, you may or may not get a fake card. Well I’m happy to report the card I received was legitimate. I made sure to choose “sold and shipped by Amazon” instead of a third party.I popped this card into my computer and tested some file transfers and everything from speed to card size was accurate.Bought this card to use with the Nintendo Switch and it works flawlessly so far.

I have been using for almost three weeks now and no issue so far. Only complain is gets hot after extended use and deteriorates performance. I just use it for removable and temporary storage between my phone and laptop.

GoPro cameras are about as fiddley as devices get for compatible memory. This memory worked great in a GoPro Hero 8.

When Amazon was offering these name-brand MicroSDXC Cards at a generic card price, I bought one for my wife's 10" Amazon tablet. Installation was so simple that my non-technical wife quickly figured out how to do it.The tablet then quickly formatted this card and made the memory available for apps and files, freeing most of the base memory of the tablet for other apps. This modest investment greatly added to the tablet's storage capacity without any glitches.

I put this in my Nintendo Switch to replace a 128GB (and slower) Samsung card that I had used before after filling it.The faster speed makes opening games a bit more snappy and I have not had any reliability issues so far.

Have had trouble with my runcam 5 not working properly with this card but it does work just isnt for 4k style shooting.
