These bookends are really cool. Anyone that's involved in Stocks, Currencies, Commodities or Crypto is probably going to love these. Would definitely make a great gift.At the $60 price point I don't think I'd want to pay too much more than that, but these are really nice looking. They appear to be of a high quality but they're still kind of on the light side as far as actual weight goes. I expected them to be heavier, but there's non-slip rubber feet and they work very well. The statues look like they're actually cast from bronze but it appears to be just a coating.I think they look absolutely gorgeous. There's some really cool detail on the animal sculptures. These would add character to anyone's bookshelf or desk etc. Very cool for people that take an interest in financial markets. I really like them - 5 stars from me!

I was really impressed with the quality of this bear and bull book ends. I wish they were made out of aluminum or some type of metal, but they have actually done a very good job with the hard composite in making it look like bronzed metal. They are aesthetically pleasing and look very high end on the shelf. Very impressed with them, and they sit there as a reminder to be a good steward with one's money. I highly recommend them.

I love the concept of the bull/bear market as bookends, but these are not something that you would give to a CEO as a gift since the statues themselves are made from plastic and not from brass as you would expect. They are very light and I can't imagine them to hold more than a couple of paperback books in place. So I am giving them 3 stars solely because of the concept, but if I found these in a store I would put them back unless they were about $10. If the top was made from brass and the base from a heavier stone, I would say that they are worth the money, $60 is too much for a couple of plastic bookends like these.

I always consider the price of an item when I review it - this is a very NICE item- very masculine, very beautiful - see the picture. I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars simply because at this price point, I would think it would be heavier or real brass - it's pretty lightweight and not real wood or brick or brass. On the other hand, it's very masculine, great placement of the bear and bull market - like they are fighting which is a great illustration of our current market!This would be a great gift for any guy with any interest in the stock market. I'm not in finance but I love this item and am proud to display it in my office - made in china but very nice quality, a little pricey but that's sort of a meta critique of what's going on in our economic market with these two animals. I got these because I thought they would look fancy in my office, or maybe on my mantle- but they are lacking in quality and finish. I’m really disappointed because I was looking forward to them looking luxurious and expensive.Unfortunately the bears ear is broken and the bull has chips in multiple places on its body. This is NOT a shipment or -oopsie- it broke in the mail problem! The broken ear and body chips are painted over and there are no loose pieces in the box. That means these managed to get through an assembly line and any quality checks (assuming there were any), and they were shipped out anyway. I would have been mortified to give this as a gift and have someone open them looking like this. Yikes!If nothing else, the weight is ok for a bookend. I’m going to use these to hold up some books on some of the lower, dark shelves in my office and hope the low light hides their problems. At least they look decent from afar!

While the set looks nice, I can only recommend it if you plan to use it as decor pieces only. If you plan to put them to work as they are intended, they do not support books. In fact, they are so lightweight, that books just slide off and fall or flip over the bookends. I am disappointed. I returned them.

They’re fit for a sophisticated man room/office- not cheap looking at all. Heavy enough to be functional for a good amount of books. My husband was thrilled when he got them, he does love his bull bear related items, there’s a bit of pride there, and these are a really nice touch to his office.
