THE perfect rich and complex flavor I sorely missed, the price and packaging perfect for my budget and fig loving lifestyle
Taste may be subjective, but I have tasted SO MANY brands of Turkish figs (and face it, Cali/Mexico cannot come close in quality to Turkey's!) and these are THE richest, most delightful I have ever had. When I got them, it was on a whim for a ($1.60 off) very low temporary new product price of 2.50... I doubt that will ever happen again, to say the least!Someone else already posted the photo of how they were sent... I got it FROM Wild and Raw as the seller- the company itself doing us all a huge favor-and the shipping was for this free for same day delivery (Amazon got them to me in 10 hours somehow and not through prime now-maybe ordering at 1am is a good thing!)... Even if I had to wait 3 weeks for them to get here from Turkey, I would just subscribe or set an alarm to never ever run out as this price is absolutely great-I will buy so many more if they keep the 6 packs at 20 bucks! It is the perfect price point (balancing that Turkey isn't as costly to source food from BUT figs are the most laborious go to hades to get your bit of heaven item to farm, organic certification costs them a pretty penny but as a result this is a perfect 6oz price where non-organic or treated/sulphured fruit can be had for half as much)... It makes them something not out of reach for most which is getting more and more rare for actually healthy natural whole foods!! They taste like they were picked by angels with keen senses and packaged after the sun beat out everything but the flavor they pack but long before it dried them out to become rubbery sweet erasers! They aren't one bit tough (from the 3 bags I have eaten) like some and aren't the "meh" experience I have had with most (ie Made in Nature were soft but bland, Indus were too tough/not consistent in texture, etc)...I also have to point out that I love supporting small, conscientious businesses. Another point for the Irvine team who put a lot of thought into the perfect way to balance form and function (packaging and information-pretty designs and sturdy smart boxes that I think I am going to recommend to the little independent cafes/tea shops/bakeries (for their own use and for the snacks they carry) and likewise my favorite little pharmacies since this is far better than the candy and the box is perfect for displaying for small stores-I love that they don't do cases of 30 etc which often get the goods damaged be it by too much tossing around in the box, getting crushed, some getting more hot or humid or the opposite, too cold, etc... And of course it let's me buy 6 and get them at a super price (I WOULD buy 12, but I am glad I don't have to find room for 12 bags at once in my apartment!)Kudos, Nature's Wild Organic, Inc... Now I am truly curious, as the boxes show all 10 fruits they offer and all 3 countries they are sourced from (again, a smart design), how dried watermelon slices taste!! I also think, even though I am usually truly saddened by the sugar thrown all over them, I may try their pineapple and mango-if they are just fruit like this, they may also be many levels above the competition. Of course, while I had seen, in the store, the pineapple, mulberries, apricots, tomatoes that seemed out of place at the time, and dates on display, whatever they call power berries and the watermelon and cherries I don't recall seeing. The box has made me curious how theirs compare. I suppose the tomatoes and watermelon are from Mexico... Mulberries might be the Tunisia product (or tart cherries-theirs are very different from what grow here). Congrats for making me curious-the quality, of course, is what made me MOST curious!Fwiw, while I did buy this six pack, originally I was going to (for $4 more) get them at the store prime now delivers from where I discovered them... They were sold out of figs, so I am clearly not the only one who went a little crazy wondering how they could taste THIS GOOD. I am glad I don't have to dream about them anymore and wake up disappointed at the "other" figs I ate my way through missing these (at the time I checked, they only had single bags available at 8/each; the store I got these from originally is a major hassle-2 buses and enduring downtown Seattle and Chinatown traffic/noise then hauling it back on two buses again or what I usually do, walk 3/4 of a mile with all the heavy stuff making marks on my arms and killing my shoulders!) Now to beg PCC to swap Made in Nature bleh Turkish (Smyrna in that case, I believe) figs for these Aydin region delights.Oh, last note: I didn't notice the package note about refrigerating after opening, but I didn't do that and they were a-ok. Maybe if they were not used often (if so, do you really like figs? I couldn't imagine it lasting longer than mayyyybe 2 weeks which I did with the last bag, holding out hoping to get more, but I doubt they will ever exceed that; they say it is 4 servings/bag, 40g/1.5oz or so the typical serving, though I usually just grab 1 at a time-they are SO full of flavor, a molasses-like rich depth and an amazing aroma no other brand has (I used to get similar ones at a Jewish market but that was a decade ago, and this flavor was sorely missed!)... A bit of molasses, caramel, floral notes... Not your mass-produced hybrid resistant to bugs things they grow now...oh, and they graciously pick them so the weird Made in Nature issue I had, the yellow flowery polleny bits being rough and sandy and spit out ultimately, just are not present in these-thank goodness!!Oh, and want a tip for an incredible dessert rich in calcium? Three items are needed: these, some rich yogurt (I have a weakness for local sheep milk yogurt but Greek yogurt from cows is pretty tasty, too), and Cascadian Farms Dark Chocolate Granola... Chop or even puree figs into the yogurt (you can let it sit overnight if you want to amplify the taste-or a very tiny amount of dark maple syrup, Coombs the best if you ask me, is good for cutting really sharp cheese; lebneh also works but usually does need some honey or maple syrup, maple syrup much better for diabetics watching sugar levels) and stir the granola into the yogurt... If 1.5 oz of these figs are used, there is 10% of the calcium you need, and add the amount from the yogurt+cereal and you will feel the rush of strength (OK, so it is the strength of joy you feel, but bones are happier with calcium!)

Great, however the box of 6 were already opened when I got it!
The product is great, HOWEVER the box was opened before I got it. Two red pieces of red tape that sealed the box & said keep together, were both torn open. I hope it doesn't mean someone touched the food inside!

Fresh, moist, delicious
I've never bought these figs before, I've always bought other brands here on Amazon. The packing looked very nice and I like that the bags were smaller so I could buy the 6 pk with the 6oz bags for gifts. The individual 6 oz. bags reseal well to keep in the freshness. I opened one myself to try first, of course (don't want to give a gift that I've never tasted before), I was impressed with this bag that I opened. Yummy, moist, delicious. I will be buying more of these for gifts. Do not stop selling these.

Absolutely delicious
Absolutely delicious. Just the right amount of chew. Only thing that would make these better... more! And maybe it would be nice if they clipped the stems & the reseal on the package was a little sturdier.

The best quality figs you can get with this price!
I was born and raised in Turkey. During my childhood, I ate real-organic fresh figs right from the tree for years, as well as dried ones. So I know how best quality figs taste, and its look and feel. These figs are right on the target! They taste and smell just how I remember from the past. I am glad found them here. There is one more big plus; I was looking healthy-organic solid foods for my 9 months boy, and I found out dried organic figs provide essential vitamins and minerals which are indispensable for baby's growth. Which is great as well. I hope they will keep their quality, and will not lower the bar like other products!

5 star service, good product if you like Turkish figs
The first box of figs that I received was quite dry and hard. I contacted the seller, and they dealt with it right away. I also ended up getting some new samples and they were a lot more moist and tasty than the old ones. I still did not like it as much as I like the California figs I got from another place, since the other ones are chewier and fit my taste better. But that's just a personal preference. 5 stars for the services provided.
