Exactly what the Doctor ordered!
This replacement part fit perfect. Took all of about 5 minutes to install, and now has the "new" feel to the latch! After the first one that we needed was installed (the old one lost its snap, and would fall shut by iteslf) , we liked it so much we immediately ordered a second one for our other patio door, and now both feel like new!

cheap product that will break under normal use
I bought the product in October and installed it. We've used it normally and it is already cracked and falling apart. Sadly, I think this is a "you get what you pay for scenario". I reached out to customer support on thier site. They replied back asking what I needed. When I asked if they would replace the item or provide a new one with a discount they did not reply back.

Exact Replacement Part
This was an exact replacement for our vintage patio door lock. The spring steel inside the old lock mechanism broke and jammed up the lock. The dimensions provided ensured correct fit. Good value for a difficult to find patio door lock.

The included aluminum mortice piece was not deep enough for my door.
The included aluminum mortice piece was not deep enough for my door. However, I MacGyvered it by removing the lock/spring/latch piece from the included mortice and reinstalled it into my existing mortice. All I needed to solve my issue was the innards of the lockset. It worked fine. Before ordering this I went to a local glass/door shop and got an estimate for them to order one. They quoted me $57.00 for their version. This one cost me $25 and a little effort.
