You definitely won't think it's cheaply made from looking at it. The base of the lamp can be detached so the light bulb can be replaced and the dimmer switch glows at various degrees. Overall, I am completely satisfied with this product and plan on purchasing one for my office. It's a great product for under $20 and an awesome buy when comparison shopping!! My friend purchased a similar product for $35 the only difference is the dimmer switch has more settings.
